I have a few songs that have 2k+ which is something I’m happy about but I just dropped a new song and it only has 169 plays even after I used the amplify feature on SoundCloud. The thing that confuses me is that it’s better than my most streamed song. What’s going on?

My mic broke so I gotta record music with my apple earbuds and no matter how I mix it the vocals still have static and just sounds a little fucked. So I’m just wondering if that ruins the song for listeners.
