Missed Connection

Hey everyone, I’m throwing this out into the universe because my mind has been completely spinning since landing about 24 hours ago. I usually never get airport crushes like this, but the connection felt so incredibly real that I am kicking myself for not just speaking up.
If you were on this flight, or if this sounds like a friend of yours who just arrived in Chicago, please help me find her!
How it happened:
The Flight: We were on Cathay Pacific flying from Hong Kong to Chicago O'Hare. She was sitting a few rows ahead of me. Every single time I walked down the aisle to stretch or use the restroom, we locked eyes. It wasn't just a casual glance; it happened multiple times throughout the entire long-haul flight and felt so intentional.
The Line: We ended up near each other again in the massive immigration queue. She was traveling with a group of three other Asian friends (two tall guys and another girl). They were talking excitedly, and it felt like they might be first-time international travelers or students on a trip. Even while waiting in that long line, we kept catching each other's eyes.
The Baggage Carousel: At the luggage belts, she walked right past me and my foot accidentally brushed against hers. I quickly said sorry, but she just moved past without saying anything. Honestly, we were probably all completely exhausted and jet-lagged by that point!
The Terminal: After clearing customs, I went to grab a coffee at the airport coffee shop. I looked over and realized she was right next door at the Hudson shop checking out the local SIM cards.
I initially assumed she was dating one of the guys in her group, but watching them interact, it really felt like they were just great friends or classmates.
If you are reading this, or if you think you know who this is, please send me a DM! To verify it’s you, please tell me the specific pieces of jewelry I was wearing or something unique about what your friends were wearing. I’d love to take you out for a proper coffee this time

Kicking myself for being too chicken to say hello. We locked eyes the whole flight from HKG to ORD (June 23), and I can't forget your face. Please help me find her!

Missed Connection: Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong (HKG) to Chicago (ORD) on Tuesday, June 23 – Looking for the girl traveling with 3 friends

The Line: We ended up near each other again in the massive immigration queue. She was traveling with a group of three other Asian friends (two tall guys and another girl). She herself was pretty tall.
