In case your wondering, the resent prescription, still not the generic.

Believe me, if there was a single other rheum available to me I’d switch. I’m not even medically complex compared to most. Just refill the correct prescription for fucks sakes!

Getting LDN in Spain?

Hi! I currently live in Texas and my husband and I are in the process of moving to Spain on a retirement visa. I have been on LDN (4.5mg) for almost a year and it has been incredible. My local Rheumatologist prescribes it and I get it delivered from a local compounding pharmacy. I will have a large enough prescription to get me through the first few months of our move, but after that I have to figure it out on my own. Due to our visa we will purchase private insurance so we’re not a burden on the public system, but I’m hoping to find a quicker solution. Are there any recommendations for an online telehealth/prescription where I can get it delivered to my Spanish address? Even if they are in another EU country, I just want to ensure I can get it somewhere. I have nearly all of my medications figured out except for LDN and I am not willing to stop it, since it has helped my quality of life tremendously. If anyone has any recommendations, experience or ideas I would love to hear them. Thank you so much 😊

Air Freight recommendations for pallet of art collection.

Hi! We are planning our move to Spain on the NLV early 2027. My husband and I have a significant art collection, mostly paintings and a few fragile ceramic/sculpture pieces. I have figured out packing them into totes and originally planned to ship a pallet with UpackWeShip. It is still an option of course but with the paintings being sensitive to moisture I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a company that does Air Freight shipping for a pallet of totes instead? I’ll have a few various other home items included but for the most part it’ll be art and some extra clothes. I’m a bit anxious about sending them by sea and also would like to receive them as quickly as possible or have the option for the company to store them for a bit while we house hunt.

This small patch has been on my face for a couple weeks, it’s is not raised, not itchy, honestly I don’t even notice it’s there. Should I be concerned?

I already had my annual dermatology appointment, which was fine, and would really prefer to not go back for another appointment. No family history of skin cancers, no other suspicious spots, but I do have lupus and a significant malar rash, ear eczema, and minor rosacea that’s mostly gone now. Am I overthinking this?

Moving to Spain

Is there anyone, with lupus, living in the south of Spain? More specifically the Rota area. We are relocating and I’m very nervous about my lupus symptoms. I know I will love Europe, I lived in Germany and had such a great time. But the sun isn’t nearly as strong. We currently live in West Texas, our temps last year competed with the Sahara and our UV is unbelievably high. I can barely function here. Should I expect Spain to be about the same or is it better? We basically only have Summer here and maybe 1-2 months of winter/spring. It’s just SO hot. It is further north than where I currently am so I’m hoping for better. I also would really like to spend time on the beach, it’s absolutely beautiful there but I’m worried lupus will ruin it for me. If you live in Spain, what is your quality of life like? We will have private Spanish insurance and military insurance so I’m not too worried about medical care thankfully, but the day to day has me concerned, especially the summers.

This is my neighbors water meter. Ours is right next to it. Do I need to worry about risk of contamination of my own water?

It has just been getting progressively worse. The city has been contacted and came out multiple times and now refuse to take action. The problem isn’t on the city’s property. They have shut it off, but my neighbor just turns in back on. There’s constantly wild animals and stray dogs in it, frequently full of mosquitoes and other bugs. Overall it’s just disgusting. The mess is nearly on our property line but it’s not really anything we can do about. Our concern is mostly with the potential for contamination. Our city water already isn’t trustworthy, is there any danger to my household that this could cause?
