She’s so beautiful! I wanted her to have a more dynamic pose instead of just standing on the shelf, so hopefully the end result is giving the vision in my head. It’s meant to look like she’s quickly bending down to poof some magic into her cauldron!

I used the vine wraps from Venus’s boots as magic coming from her hands and from the cauldron. Trimmed the lace on the front of her shirt so the necklace would look a little better, repainted the belt/shoes/hat details/spellbook trim/cauldron details/hearing aid details.

I braided her hair and did a boil wash and I’m not too happy with how fluffy it looks bc I was hoping for a wavy style that lays kinda flat, but it’s better than box hair. I loooove the shade of green of her hat and cauldron! And I wish you could see her shoes under these long ass pant legs but either way I’m happy with how she turned out (:

I love her little clawies

This is my Carina! I took all the pink out of her hair bc I thought the white would look ethereal on its own (I was correct) and I painted the shoes a bit. I’ve done curls before on a Cleo and separated them with my fingers so they were more beachy curls, but this time I wanted it to be more romantic so I left them in ringlets. I think she is so beautiful, I love her white hair!! It’s giving Bo-Peep in my eyes 😍 if I had the funds, I would definitely buy another Carina just to turn her into Bo-Peep!

Anyway, she is on a shelf with other Monster High dolls that I’ve coupled up together (bc DUH she’s a love witch) including: SSB Frankie and Cleo, CR1 Frankie and Cleo, and Claire de Luna and Robecca (I like the thought of Robecca flying Claire around to where she needs to go, and the idea that Claire’s powers and Robecca’s mechanics blend the concepts science and magic together).

Thoughts? Complaints? I love feedback on the little things I can do for now, as I don’t have the space in my house to start learning and collecting items required for rerooting or faceups.

I included a photo of her in her curler straw prison (cuz it makes me laugh) as well as a crappily-edited quad-panel photo of how I removed the pink hairs (one of my friends asked how I get the specific hairs out without taking the head off bc I’m too lazy for that so I made the panel), a photo of her white hair before I curled it, and the before photo 🥰

I plan to do a boil wash on them (and touch up some of my other ghouls as well) and probably paint some of their accessories. I am in looooove with them!! Carina looks so much better in person than in stock photos and in box… I just wish her dress waistline was sewn a bit lower. Willow is gorgeous! But her pants are SO LONG that you can’t see her shoes, which is slightly disappointing. But I do appreciate that her hearing aid is punched into her ear with a hole rather than just balanced on the ear like Frankie’s earbuds. Definitely a nice improvement! I kinda wish she had brown hair instead of purple.

As for Claire… no notes. She is beautiful. I love everything about her. Her eyes, her skin tone, her outfit, everything. She is my absolute favorite in this line! I think my only complaint with her is that her purse won’t stay on her shoulder and I can’t fit her spell book in her purse. But the fact she has braille on her box and on her spell book is so cool and inclusive, I love her!

I’ve been on the fence about this doll for a while, but they were $12 on sale so I bought them! I cut off the sweater vest and ditched the crossbody bag. Swapped the yellow leg for a silver one, painted the shoes, added a chain belt and added a short mesh legging and the choker from SSB, added a headband and extra bracelet. Cut their hair, painted their lips, and moved their skirt to show off more of the pretty houndstooth pattern! Frank looks so good in blue!! I left the earbuds pink so they’d stand out more.
