Is this something I can fix myself?
The front hinge/arm mount on my DJI Air 2S broke, and I honestly have no idea how or when it happened. The last person to fly it was my husband, and it’s been sitting in its carrying case for months. We only noticed the damage when I took it out recently.
I’m pretty tech-savvy and have repaired PS5, Xbox, and Switch controllers before, and I’m comfortable soldering if necessary. I’ve also taken apart my consoles and my computer multiple times for cleaning, upgrades, and minor repairs, so I’m not completely new to working on electronics.
Is this something that’s realistically DIY repairable? Are there replacement shells or repair kits available? Does the repair require soldering, or is it mostly just a shell swap? Also, is this a common failure on the Air 2S, or did I just get unlucky?
Any advice, repair guides, parts recommendations, or things I should watch out for would be greatly appreciated!
