Why is my Cuktech 10 Ultra (AD1204U) only giving 90W on my Poco X8 Pro Max?
Hey everyone,
I’m using the Cuktech 10 Ultra (AD1204U) wall charger with my Poco X8 Pro Max. I’m having a weird issue where I only get the "90W Max" animation instead of 100W.
Here is the confusing part:
The Charger: On the back, it says it supports up to 100W even on a 110V outlet (which I’m using here in Canada). It also supports 100W PPS and Xiaomi’s official charging protocols.
The Phone: The Poco X8 Pro Max supports 100W PPS and 100W HyperCharge.
I’ve tried everything to get that extra 10W:
I used the original 6A cable that came with the charger.
I tried a high-end Apple USB-C cable (the 240W one).
I went into the Mi Home app and messed with the settings (toggling AI mode and UFCS on/off).
Even with all this, the phone immediately shows "90W Max" the second I plug it in. If the charger supports 100W on 110V, and the phone supports 100W PPS, why is it stuck at 90W?
