Effective ways to network locally and successfully submit work to galleries?

I’m a 40 year old film photographer in New Orleans. I mostly capture b/w images of street, parades, and obscurities. I work in printing so I have access to print making and making zines. My goal is to eventually have work in local galleries but I have little knowledge of how to do this strategically. I have been in a couple group shows, and I have sold some work, but I’m interested in learning how to network the right way.

From a partially shot roll in a 40 year old camera.

I have never shared these anywhere until now. I bought a film SLR from an estate sale last year and this roll was in it. Half the roll had family photos on it.
