Hi!

I was gifted a PC with these specifications and want to upgrade it as part of a summer project before the Win 10 security expires. I am wanting to use it for gaming and hoping to pay less than £800 for the upgrades. What would be your recommendations. I know the motherboard and CPU needs and upgrade and then later down the line I will up the graphics card but it plays games I play now pretty well. I just don't know what the best options are for replacement.

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.20GHz
Motherboard: MAXIMUS IX Hero
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 TI 11GB, (and Intel HD Graphics 630)
32GB of installed RAM

I've been writing for as long as I can remember and frequently switch between writing original stuff to publish one day and stories set in franchises I enjoy just for fun. I used to read on Wattpad and AO3 when I was a teen but I was wondering, where is the best place to publish fan fics right now?

Specifically, not smut or AUs but original stories, maybe with original characters, set in pre-existing franchises.

I love Borderlands and really get on with them but I'm going back to BL1 for the first time in a while and its winding me up.

My siren's powers keep destroying barrels that kill me or fling me about the map. The random difficulty spikes that occur. The crawl up to Krom has been painful.

Im so sure I loved this game when I grew up but its just infuriatingly unforgiving at times.
