Possible scam or legit pre-approved BDO credit car
Has anyone experienced receiving a BDO credit card delivery even without applying?
I recently got a message saying a BDO Visa credit card is already out for delivery under my name. I also received a tracking page with shipment updates. The strange part is I never remember applying for a credit card.
I do have a BDO savings account that I use for my salary/payroll, so I’m wondering if this is one of those pre-approved cards banks send automatically.
I’m also worried about possible annual fees. If I accept the card but do not activate or use it, will I still get charged? Is there a way to waive the annual fee permanently or yearly with BDO?

- Did you accept the card?
- Was it legitimate?
- Did you need to activate it first before any charges or annual fees applied?
- Should I be worried about identity theft?
I already plan to contact BDO directly to verify everything. I just want to hear experiences from others first.
