New shift manager
Hey everyone I just started around 2 weeks ago as a shift manager, and I can confidently say I know little to nothing about what I’m supposed to do, I’ve done so many shift managing job i thought by my second week I’d at least know almost everything, I only know how to operate the tills, maybe refill the bakes when the ones displayed are running out, I did the cashing up for 2 tills and banking for the first time, was not taught about how to handle or put away the stock, the stale, waste and stock count and how to rotate the stuff from the fridges to the sandwich bench, I still don’t know how to do the hot stuff displays for lunch, is this normal ? Or Im i rushing my training ?
