In The Modern Tordesillas, the US can support the Republic of Colombia instead of the Revolutionary Union, yet I still get public backlash if the Revolutionary Union collapses. I also do not receive public goodwill if the Republic of Colombia wins. Is this an oversight by the devs?
I personally hope that we'll see Eugene McCarthy, George McGovern, Frank Church, or Shirley Chisholm representing the Activist Democrats. Maybe Philip Hart, Jimmy Carter, or Scoop Jackson will be the Establishment Democrats. I can see George Wallace being a perennial candidate for the Yaller Democrat. (Side Note: can anyone explain to me how they got the name?)
For the Republicans, I can see Nelson Rockefeller, George Romney, or Chuck Percy representing the Traditional Republicans while Spiro Agnew, Ronald Reagan, or Sam Yorty speak for the New Republicans.
