For the new players and returning, simple advice for you

I see a lot of new players struggling with trying new content and worried about dying or what it costs per death, and also thinking some content is too hard to learn.

My advice is that you try new content and fail at it all as much as you can tolerate and sleep on it. This game isn’t skill based, it’s just timing and reaction based in some ways. A lot of content is easily accessible and can be done in void or elite void, or many budget setups and do not let the wiki dictate what you can and can’t do based on gear you have.

You’ll see Ironman accounts or UIM guys doing ToA raids because the mechanics are easy to learn and they can survive. Key point there is just learning the ropes and learning how not to die! My clan has recently started a bingo for example which has forced many of our new players and mid level people to try new content for the event and we’ve seen a complete turnaround for skillers into pvmers and getting crazy drops just for learning and trying.

My advice to you is try what ypu can, experiment with what you got and give yourself a chance and have fun. This game is pretty wholesome and a lot of people will help you learn. Even people in max gear set ups will literally make sure you have fun and learn because they enjoy putting others on.

If you have questions, ask. If you want to grow and have content more often, find an active and fun clan to goof around with

And literally just have fun however you can

This game is really dope if you give yourself chances

Tombs of Amascut is a great raid to begin with. Vorkath will help you learn and make you some money. Royal titans is good for practicing gear switches. Perilous Moons bosses is easier than you think

(Hint: you can clap blood moon bosses cheeks with full granite armor and a belles folly!)

There’s creative ways of doing things and efficient ones.

Experiment and don’t let the Wiki rule you until you’re ready for farming content!

And try all the content you want

There’s so many fun new things and the rabbit hole is deep

Peace

I sometimes let lurers perform their whole 'act' because I get lonely, just to waste their time.

To Whom It May Concern (and I know it does concern you),

First, let me say: I see you. I really do. The effort. The costumes. The elaborate stage you set in Lumbridge, Varrock, the Duel Arena, or my personal favorite... Ferrox Enclave, wherever the foot traffic brings enough hope for you to harvest. You've built something. A craft, even. And I respect that, in the way you respect a magician whose trick you already know.

I owe you an apology.

There have been times, and I won't say how many, but it's more than twice, where I followed your breadcrumbs all the way to the house. I watched your partner appear from behind a tree, right on cue. I gasped at the right moment. I even typed "woah really??" once, which I'm not proud of, but I was committed to the bit And then, after all of that... I walked away. Logged off, even. Let your whole operation dissolve like a rune I never cast.

I know what you're thinking: this is scummy. And you're right. I dragged you through the five-act play and never stayed for the curtain call. I used your time. Your hope. Your second account that you specifically leveled to 60 Magic for this. That's cold. I acknowledge it.

But here's the thing. and I mean this with genuine sincerity, you're the most consistent company I have at 2am on a Tuesday. My friends have jobs now. Real ones. Nobody's farming Dharoks with me anymore. The Grand Exchange is quiet and the wilderness is mostly bots. And then there you are, whispering about a "trust game" like it's the first time either of us has heard those words like I am a sweet summer child.

You give me something to do.

So yes, I waste your time. And yes, I feel a small, warm ember of guilt about it, the kind you blow on gently to keep alive because you don't actually want to put it out.

I thank you for the performance. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'll probably do it again.

Warmly,

A Level 124 with nothing to lose and nowhere to be

P.S. Your "friend" who shows up with the backup account? Tell him he's a good actor. He almost got me in 2019.

Edit:

Do not participate in scams or lures. Scammers are quite smart and you will be surprised if you haven't been playing a long-long time.
