Stress at work + Extra sleepy time tea

Had a super rough week with over four hours of sleep debt. My usual magnesium wasn't helping much so I had some extra sleepy time tea and finally caught up a bit. I could feel my body relax and even had some dreams. Still need to get this debt down power but keep eves for a better night's sleep. Ps was in bed by 930, which is becoming new normal with the ring.

Oura ring really gave me perspective

I’ve been wearing the Oura Ring for the past three weeks, and it has genuinely changed how I think about alcohol’s impact on my body. What used to be “just a few glasses of wine” has shifted to, “What will these glasses of wine do to my body and my sleep score?”

We all know alcohol can affect sleep, but seeing the data tied to your own body makes it feel much more real.

From a lifestyle perspective, it has made me much more intentional about my habits. I focus on getting my steps in, winding down earlier, stress management, and prioritizing a good night’s rest. It is interesting how quickly having better visibility into your health can change everyday decisions.

PSA for my fellow Oura ring overachievers: if my step count is looking personally offended by my lifestyle choices, I simply relocate myself to a mall and start “walking with purpose” (aka aggressive window shopping).

10/10 trick — suddenly I’m hitting my step goal and considering buying things I absolutely don’t need.
