Y no pretendo predicarte mi evangelio

18 year old, using Tinder to get hook-ups, what are some essential tips?

I finally got tired of waiting to have a girlfriend to have sex, or even have the chance. I only got to that point once, so I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to seduction and even more with hook-ups. I'm trying to up my skills at seducing and understanding the unwritten rules of casual meetings. Really, I'm asking for even the more essential advice you can think of, because even the most obvious things can be not-so clear for someone as inexperienced as me. For example, some years ago I did not even know how to properly socialize and when I found out that asking questions about the other person was a good way, I really was impressed by how I did not think of it before.

Some tips I'd like to know could be:

- How are conversations handled in a relationship like this? Should I take it while relaxing, tryna be myself and not preoccupy or should I strive to be more seductive? I mean, is it necessary for me to persuade the girl?

- Secondly, how can I be seductive? I mean, literally, what should I say? Which topics should I avoid and which should I prioritize? Is it simply saying compliments or is there another way? Which compliments should I use? How can my personality be seductive? Is it confidence, is it smoothness? How can I be smooth?

- Third, what should I avoid saying or how should I act if I screw up?

Anyways, those are all my biggest concerns right now, I'm y'all can give me some good advice for at least some of my concerns. I know the best way to learn is to try, test and learn from my errors, but at least I'd like to have a base, knowing the basics, especially in a world I know so little about. And I know, doesn't matter the situation, the condom stays on.

Does Freddie actually work on a RnB type beat or I'm close minded?

Sup y'all, how's everyone doing? Lately I've been listening to YOD1 and the deluxe as my first listen to the album in question, and there's this one track that rubs me the wrong way. Specifically, I'm talking about "Ruthless" and the Leon Thomas remix.

Here's the thing, the way I think Freddie fits on beats is when the obscure atmosphere, 808s and trap production complement Kane's raspy delivery, hard flows and gangsta lyrics.

He can also flow very well on vocal - soul - samples and upbeat vibes (like, for example, Pimp Hand by The Purist), it fits very well with his fast and smoother flows, a more chill delivery and when he raps about his life experiences (like in High, on Piñata) or how he is balling on life.

And of course, he can rap on smooth and/or grimy instrumental samples, like Deeper by Madlib or Scottie Beam by The Alchemist, as random examples.

But, the thing is, these songs in particular (Ruthless and its remix) sound, imo, bad. Why, you may be asking? Cause they, to my liking, sound like RnB or rather romantical instrumentals, with the vocal loop and the slow acoustic guitar. With an instrumental like that, I'd expect some corny love song, but Freddie being Freddie, raps about how he disrespects hoes that try to fuck with him when he has a family to take care of; and how he plays with women, how he is so full of options thanks to his success. This strange combination kind of reminds me of that 90' trend where rappers would collab with rock bands and some for real wouldn't fit even with super glue, like Children of the Korn ft. Ice Cube or Jay Z on Numb / Encore with Linking Park (though this last one is a little bit better than the others).

In conclusion, the problem is that the instrumental sounds a bit corny, when Freddie sounds rather real and hard.

Now, am I wrong? Maybe, this is still a subjective subject and it's also bound to my liking. Am I being ignorant? Possibly, there's still a whole lot of Freddie's music that I haven't listened to yet and there could be more examples like the one in this post that actually work better. In any case, y'all lemme know, I'm open for debate as this is an interesting matter.
