Carol's Neighborhood

Yesterday I went to Carol's neighborhood in Albuquerque to take a few photos. You have to park on the road about 1/2 mile from the set because there is a Road Closed sign and I'm not sure if driving beyond that would be considered trespassing. So we walked along the side of the gravel road to get a look from the perimeter fence. There were a couple SUVs there, including one that appeared to be from a security company. There was someone inside the car and it was running (to keep it cool on this 94-degree day), but they didn't mess with us as long as we stayed outside of the fence. I took a few photos but the sun was already descending to the west, so the photos don't show a lot of detail. All the windows on the homes are boarded up, and I expect they will begin opening them up as it gets closer to the October filming dates. Here's my pics:

Travel storage

Hi gang! I have been using Tirz for 3 months now, and I'm very happy with the results. I will be traveling next month and will need to dose one time during my trip. I purchased one of those insulin cooler travel cases to carry my vial and a couple syringes (I want an extra because theoretically I can drop the syringe and it could stick RIGHT IN MY THIGH through my jeans and thusly I may need another sterile one. Theoretically.)

So, the cold packs last at least 12 hours before they hit room temperature, which is plenty of time. But if I have my vial with remaining medication with me, that means I have to keep the meds in a fridge, and refreeze the cold packs for the return trip. I am thinking that I can load a syringe before my trip (under normal sterile conditions, obviously) and cap the syringe and place it in the case for travel. Then when it's time to dose, I simply use it and put the used needle in the case for disposal in my sharps container back home. But I won't need to keep anything cold after that.

Is there any reason why this is not a good idea? I'm thinking the syringe will be pre-loaded and kept cool for about 4 days until my normal dosing day. Then I won't need to worry about it. Thoughts?

Injection question

Okay, so this is a new one. When I did my 90 unit injection on my thigh this morning, it immediately created a bump on my skin. Obviously the subcutaneous injection went in maybe too shallow, and it didn't hurt. I started massaging the area and the bump went down. Anyone else get this, and is this a problem or just a transient event I don't need to worry about.

Higher dosage

So I've mentioned this before. My dose went up to 130 units from 90 units. Based on the prescription, it looks like I'll need to inject myself twice to get the full dose. The syringe only holds 100 units. So, I'll need to jab myself two times to get the full dose. Obviously I'll use two separate syringes. Anyone else have to deal with this? I searched online and can't find syringes that have a 200 unit capacity.

Syringe size

I just received my order from Gimme Care. I asked to increase my dose from a previous supplier. The 3 month supply has monthly doses of 90 units, 110 units, and 135 units. But they only sent syringes that max out at 100 unit. Do they expect me to stick myself TWICE to get the higher weekly dose? Or could they make the formula at a higher concentration? God forbid their Customer Service department replies to any of my questions.
