TATTOO ADVICE FOR ANIMATOR
Hello there everyone!
I am interested in doing a tattoo apprenticeship (for a few years now) while wanting to maintain 2D animation/character design as a career.
Ive gotten a degree in Animation and spent 3 years working on my craft. But I want to branch out and have other creative possibilities I can fall back on, in such an unstable industry.
For example possibly interchanging the two in the future (Remote animation wor from home, and tattooing in studio simultaneously... you get the idea...) Or potentially have Tattooing as my main career.
Is the workload realistic?
I feel they mesh well in terms of composition, linework, fluid motion, skills can be transferable and align with my creative passions.
Just looking for some honest opinions as I know both are very skilled jobs that still require different skillsets.
Thank you for your time and anyone that responds!
