When using a VPN and incognito mode (and sometimes even without it), when I run a DNS leak test, I see Google’s DNS alongside AdGuard’s DNS, even though AdGuard’s DNS is specified in my Brave browser settings.

My system’s DNS, my VPN’s DNS, and my ISP’s DNS weren’t showing up. But Google’s DNS somehow appeared in all the tests. Even when I switched from AdGuard DNS to Cloudflare in Brave’s settings, Google’s DNS still showed up alongside Cloudflare.

This issue has never occurred in Firefox-based browsers. In addition, Chromium-based browsers experience issues with ECH.
