West Hollywood vs Hollywood?
Moving to LA and may join. I’ll be living just south of West Hollywood. Which location is better? I won’t use the pool. Also is the remodel complete in West Hollywood?
I would really like to meet friends in the community

Hi, I’m thinking about making the leap to living in La.
I’m currently living in a non-major acting market. I’m very well represented and currently auditioning for roles in LA, NYC, ATL, and other markets.
I’d like to move to la to have access to better classes as well as be part of the community.
My question is, how much will networking in person help? I’m a very social person and do well with that sort of thing. I’m wondering if I get in with some different crowds how helpful that would be? Is it helpful to shmooze with CDs as well?
Side question - how common are in person commercial castings?
I appreciate the help!
What neighborhood in LA has neighborhood bars/restaurants? I’m looking around at the different areas. Mainly West Hollywood, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. As I look around the area online for bars and restaurants everything is super upscale. Very chic, kinda clubby looking?
The main areas that I’m looking in would be between downtown and the coast. Wanting to stay central to Hollywood for work reasons
Is there an area that is a little more down to earth and has some old classic dive bars, sports bars, etc?
