I’m interested in buying this bike computer but I don’t want to change this elegant mount.

Hey everyone, I’m dealing with a bit of a first-world problem here. A few weeks ago, I was looking to buy my first proper road bike, and I ended up looking at a Cube Agree SLX (because I’m a fan of SRAM).
I went to a local bike shop to test the sizing (they didn’t have the colour I wanted, though). I’m 177 cm tall with an 83 cm inseam. I tried a size 53, which felt really good, but the saddle was too low and couldn’t be raised any further. I then tried a size 56, but the shop employee didn’t want to lower the saddle any further than its highest position, because he said otherwise the seatpost could get damaged. As a result, the bike felt way too big.
I was pretty disappointed, so when I got home I started looking at Canyons. Since I had a cycling holiday planned with my girlfriend and wanted a bike fairly quickly, I ended up ordering a Canyon Ultimate AXS (with SRAM Rival).
It’s a really nice bike and I really enjoy riding it, but it’s not my dream bike.
Now, this week, the Cube bikes have gone on sale — and I mean a HUGE sale. The Cube with SRAM Force and a power meter is now cheaper than my Ultimate. That hurts a little, especially because I’ve since discovered that you can buy a longer seatpost for the Cube (something the shop apparently didn’t know). I also think the size 56 might actually fit me if the saddle were set at the proper height.
So here’s my dilemma: it seems ridiculous to sell my Canyon now at a small loss, because it really is a great bike. But unfortunately, it’s not my dream bike, and I’m a little worried that I’ll regret not getting the Cube over the next few years.
What would you guys do? Sell the Canyon at a small loss and go back to the Cube shop to get properly fitted on the different sizes? Or just make peace with the Canyon and try to forget about the Cube?
