Hey everyone. Dual citizen here France / Canada.

Before becoming a dual citizen, I only had a French passport, and was denied entry in the US under the esta program (they saw I was trying to work in the US without a visa) .. they sent me back home, saying I will never be able to visit the US under the Esta program.

Fast forward almost 10 years later, I am now a Canadian citizen, and I want to go to the US for vacations, visits and road trips, using my canadian passport.

My question is, since I have a Canadian passport now, will the US see that I was denied entry before under my French passport? Should I try to cross the border ? Or should I apply for a waiver (although I wasn't denied entry with my Canadian passport) ?

I am kind of lost and not sure what to do.

I have strong ties to Canada, I own my house, I'm engaged, full time job, pets, etc etc

Thoughts ?
