Can we all just say that it's hilarious that STAN does this when the Wallabies win as huge underdogs and cause huge upsets. They literally get the coverage of the opposition teams' home nation just so that we evil pricks can listen to the despair and follow up meltdown that occurs.
There is zero reason we'd want this under normal circumstances if it wasn't for the justification of rewatching it and listening to people on comms get more and more upset as their team starts losing to our team in wonderful fashion. I think STAN also did it when we won at Twickenham in 2024, may be wrong on that tho.
It's actually so fucked up lol, cause who's gonna be the people rewatching this game with the RSA coverage? It ain't gonna be the average supporter - once is enough for them. No, this is literally just for the purists here who wanted to bask in the feeling a bit longer.
my current Wallabies lineup based on club form. Dashes are interchangeable and question marks are unknowns that need to get more time in at Super these final rounds to lock down their spots.

Worst one to post so far - why'd it have to be my team that got its teeth kicked in
I liked the song better before when they used the bin and slapped the shit out of it instead of getting drumsticks and tapping it instead
Zac Lomax gets given a proper welcome to Rugby tackle by Muller
The Return of the King - Tate's back baby!
Probs next week or in two weeks time and he'll be back at the Reds for the end of Super I reckon

ausleisure.com.auIf JOC takes the Leicester Tigers to English Prem final game, even if they lose, he should 100% be in the wallabies squad and pushing for the 10 shirt imo.
If Jake Gordon isn't too old to play for us, then neither is JOC. The only times we looked like we were a good team last year were before Turbo got sidelined for the entire year, due to an Irish dogshot at a ruck during the Lions Tour with an Asterisks to it, and when we had JOC at the reins of the team.
The true blows to our end-of-year campaign were the triple shots of 1) Tate being injured (JOC's fault), 2) Wright being injured, and 3) JOC not being selected, and 3.5) the Skelton selection and injury situations. I think if any of those three hadn't happened, we could've managed with 2, but all three at once were just too much for us to handle as a squad.
The thing to do now, with JOC and Foley off contract, looking for a home-coming return would be getting the Tahs to hire one of them (JOC preferably), as a game finisher and the overall mentor to any young ten in the Tahs system with even a single modicum of talent.
Like go to Bowen, tell him "sorry lad, I know McKellar did you dirty this year, just like last year, by only letting you play when the season was already over for the Tahs but next year we'll be getting in JOC or Foley and theyll be mentoring you whilst you play 60 mins weekly" but it being the Tahs they would never do something smart like that.
Even if JOC ends up going to the Sharks to play for the Durbanites and he ends up killing it, he should be within consideration people! We more than ever need something to spark us forward, and whilst I love Carter Gordon, his body (similar issue that Turbo's got) does not fill me with confidence that it can stand up to the rigours of test rugby. The old dawg has so many tricks, and Joburg's miracle last year was proof of that truth!
Will we ever see another game like this from JAS? Is putting him into a system heavy role like outside centre distracting him from fully leveraging his natural abilities, which make him such a unique player?
I think that taking him out of the 13 channel and allowing him the freedom of involvement that a winger has is probably the best place for him. I keep hearing about all his strengths, like a great kicking game and vertical ability, but we didn't see it at all last year in the Wallabies, and we almost never see them from him. What's to do? How can all the teams he's involved with bring him more into the game if he truly has the talent we were all led to believe?
Very unfortunate, he was instrumental in the force resurgence this latter half of the season. Not surprised they lost last week when he wasnt playing.
atleast we do have goodish nine depth in this country
Thats why you gotta love Wilson even if he always chooses to run and carry at two defenders instead of soft shoulders. The mans the 10 we need in this country trapped in the body type of a office worker.
End of the day, who would you say got the last laugh here?
I think history will vindicate Eddie in his preference of Carter Gordon over Noah in terms of player ability in general. Whether or not it was the move at the time is a different question.
mandatory miss the rebels but not their union management 💔
Im sorry but you cant convince me that Jake Gordon should be our starting nine at test level. He, in fact, shouldn't have been it last year even.
selections have 100% been the worst part of Joes tenure as Wallabies coach. Please Les, if you can hear us les, save us les.
Enjoy some Reds, Gordon and Wilson magic for a wonderful Brial try under less-than-wonderful circumstances!
Never forget that there is in fact a rugby anime folks, never forget...
All Out!! is its name btw in case you were curious
Sometimes the hate on a weekend night is all consuming cause of this fuckass sport, other times its just a pit of endless despair. Tonight is a rare acceptance night with some hope to it
Reds' attack was looking good, we managed to mostly stay alive to the end with fight in us till that last scrum. We have the building blocks of a strong Wallabies squad, and one day this will stop being character-building experiences as we start winning them more and more. We have the talent, and that we do as well as what we manage to do with this much against us is a testament to the lads. One day karma will come due for us; it just has to - the scales have been imbalanced for far too long to carry on like this.
Comeuppance will have a name that starts with a W, and it will be wearing the green and gold. I will not be weak and abandon my people to watch a 13-man code simply cause an Aussie team will win it each time. I'll be there till the last Aussie player hangs up the boots on the fight - as long as they care enough to fight and try, they'll have my backing.
Our fortress mentality must be grown, though, none of this going morally higher shit. The saffas cried foul at the direction of their master during the Lions of 2021 and haven't stopped since, despite winning three World Cup knockouts by a single point in a row - we must do the same. We must close ranks and be united and vocal about it until they take notice and force the tide to change to be fair to us. Stay strong - I know it's shit, but fuck 'em all, I'm proud of Fraser, Harry, Carter, Lukhan and the rest of the lads for their fight. We must honour that by staying here and supporting it like we always do.
Up the Reds and fuck everyone else not Aussie, they truly don't understand the struggle we face, pushing that sisyphean boulder uphill each fucking season, and they never will. Their words mean nothing - support your team regardless of what they say and stand by them.
Jack on 100 caps for Super games this weekend.
He seems to have really hit his stride these last few games since hes had more game time and exposure playing at this level than before.
Funny how at the start of the season no one thought he'd get to play at all behind the two injury prone blondes but him and Vola have really stepped in to do the job needed I'd say.
