England 26/27 kit
Just got sent an email with a link to this kit, not seen it on their socials or anything yet.
It’s completely revolutionary, can’t wait to drop £90 on this beauty.

Here's a combo of my personal opinion and what I think the squad will be on the state of England's depth ahead of the Nations Championship.
There are players in this who if i were in charge, would be put much lower but I want to consider: minutes played, historical form, current form, Borthwicks opinion, etc.
If the classifications aren't fully clear:
Could Start- the 1st choices, only changing based on opposition or injuries.
Squad - those who have been playing incredibly well for their clubs and if they were in the final squad I'd be happy
Fringes - Those older players (24+) who have been in the England/ A squads within the last year and could theoretically get in based off that
High potential - Slightly younger players who have been playing/ starting regularly for their clubs and could break into the squad in the near future.
Big next season needed - players who aren't starting for their clubs atm and need more gametime next season to be even slightly in contention
Younger/ academy players - players from the ages of 18-23 who it would be unfair to expect consistent gametime yet.
No chance - the 28+ players who haven't had a sniff at international yet and so are unlikely to be called up.
This is the BBC team of the tournament for the Women's Six Nations that has just finished.
Here is what it says about ZH10:
>10. Zoe Harrison (England)
>Carla Arbez and Dannah O'Brien pushed her close but Harrison takes the number 10 jersey. With so much star power, the Red Roses need someone to unlock that talent, and Harrison did just that, recording a 100% passing accuracy and recording the most line break assists of any fly-half (eight).
>With the boot, she had the best kick retention rate of any fly-half, with 14% of her kicks from hand being regathered, either by herself or a team-mate, but it was her performance off the tee which really stood out.
>She slotted 29 of her 31 kicks – including 10 out of 11 from within 10 metres of the touchline - with her 94% success rate being the highest of any player. According to Opta's xGK (expected goals kicked) model, the average goal-kicker would have been expected to make only 65% of those same attempts.
How good?
Since only van-Rensburg-related articles have been posted, I thought I’d drop the whole squad here for wider discourse…
Kepu Tuipulotu also receives his first senior call-up, with Ojomoh missing out.
Thoughts on the selections? 👇
FT: France 28-43 England
Ratings:
Subs:
Liz Crake - 5/10 - Came on as the game ended.
Connie Powell - 5/10 - Came on as the game ended.
Maud Muir - 6.5/10 - Hard carries when she came on.
Demelza Short - 6/10 - Hard working if ineffectual or not seen.
Marlie Packer - 7/10 - Had a big influence when she came on and setup the game winning try.
Flo Robinson - 5/10 - Came on as the game ended.
Holly Aitchison - 5/10 - Came on as the game ended.
Emma Sing - 6.5/10 - Am I the only one who thought she got a turnover and was unfairly pinged at the end?
Thoughts:
Well, I wouldn't say I had concerns, but I thought if France were going to beat us this would be it. All the injuries, pregnancies, all the chat in the media. Can England do it with essentially in parts a D team. Well, would you look at that?
The defensive intensity was off the charts in a ferocious game and that France I want to add, were very good. PBS/Feaunati or Cokayne for my women's player of the tournament, all deserve recognition.
Under Scarratt we want fast ruck time, to play at pace and to attack quickly so defences don't have time to set. At times it's great to watch and I think we're getting better at it as well. That breach try in the second half was a thing of beauty.
Can't say enough about Harrison's goalkicking, it's like watching Wilko in his pomp. Just know it's getting slotted and so many are on the sidelines. She might be with Ramos, the best kicker in the game right now.
The team is in such a good place and I'm excited to see where this evolves. There's a few things I want to discuss going forward in the next bit, but that, after everything that has gone on this tournament was mustard.
Final Words:
I'm not too sure how Mitchell has managed to do that. All the injuries, ins and outs, and to still deliver a 6 nations when previous England teams, mens and womens, who've won world cups, haven't gone on to win the 6 nations afterwards, it's a tremendous achievement for him and the team. Shout out to Scarratt and Deacon as well.
As for the team. At prop I expect Botterman to return and that will give more depth as well. Hooker, I'd like Hayley Jones to stay, drop Connie Powell even though I'm a Quins fan, and have her learn around LAD and Cokayne, we need a new hooker being bled through. Locks, I'd have Campion and Talling as the new no 1 pairing going forward, they are the future and are potentially the now as well.
Backrow, Feaunati's performances throughout have been stellar, Burton has come on leaps as well as being influential now around the side. Packer will keep going and as for Lutui, she needs time. She looks like a player who's a project but an exciting one who over the next world cup cycle we're on, a bit like Feaunati will be bled gradually into the starting 15, but she's a prospect. I'd also keep Short, she's been pretty solid whenever she's played and acclimatised well to the setup and Mitchell really rates her as does Deacon. Another one who we need to perservere with.
In the backs, I'd stick with Packer starting but make sure in weaker games to let Flo Robinson get game time. She's the youngest scrummie we have, but Packer has asserted herself as undisputed no 1, and whilst Hunt will be back, we need another scrummie to come through and I think Flo has it. Zoe is the most important player in the side and the best fly half in the game, behind her, I'd still look to introduce Cromack slowly. I think Holly is going to be phased out slowly over time, so I'm hoping that's for Ella.
Centres is where it gets interesting. I think Rowland has done a brilliant job at 12 for England with Jones, but I'd do what France has done and have a harder carrier at Inside Centre to draw defenders. Over the next year or so I'm hoping Parry gets blooded at 12 and becomes the 12 we think she is, which should free up Jones to be even more dangerous at 13.
As for the back 3, I'd keep Kildunne at 15. She's at her best there. I'd also keep Breach as one of the wingers, you just know she's going to score and she shows up when it matters more often than not.
For the other winger spot however, I think it's up for grabs. I'd hope Millie David gets it. There aren't many x factor young backs coming through around the womens game but she is one, so I'm hoping she's trained to be the new winger added to the side so that the backs get some new youngsters added to revitalise it too. Mia Venner also is another option if Mitch wants size to Breach's speed.
It's interesting watching Mitch bleed the youngsters in. Take Feaunati for example. She's been around the side since 2023, but she's only really hit her gear this tournament, but she's accumulated 30 odd caps already. Kabeya too. I think with the backs, he'll do something similar with Parry and David I hope, but he's very cautious about their development. Doesn't chuck them into the deep end. Develops them to the environment of the red roses gradually and over time they take over. It's done well so far.

>Steve Borthwick is considering resting Maro Itoje, the England captain, for the Nations Championship this summer.
>In the previous two seasons, Itoje has exceeded the Rugby Football Union’s own player welfare guidelines by playing in more than 30 matches each campaign. On Monday, Borthwick will announce an extended training squad for the summer matches away to South Africa, home to Fiji and away to Argentina. The three games involve 25,000 miles of travel across three continents.
>Borthwick is expected to rest a handful of players for one if not all of those fixtures and Telegraph Sport understands Itoje is one of them, even if he is included in the squad for the mini-camp which assembles on Monday.
>So far this season, the Saracens second row has played 20 games for club and country. He began the season with the lingering effects of a concussion that he suffered in the third Test of the Lions tour while he has also been dealing with a knee injury.

Come on Red Roses! 🌹
>Steve Borthwick is considering an immediate England call-up for Benhard Janse Van Rensburg after the RFU confirmed that the Bristol Bears centre will be eligible for Test selection during the Nations Championship.
>Borthwick, the England head coach, will name a training squad on Monday to begin preparations for a challenging run of summer Tests against South Africa, Fiji and Argentina.
>England need an injection of fresh impetus following the worst Six Nations campaign in their history, and Borthwick is under pressure to improve results and change the team’s style of play after four defeats in five games during the championship...
>...Initially, Janse Van Rensburg, who plays both centre positions, was not expected to be eligible for England until the autumn.
>But the RFU has clarified that the former South Africa Under-20 international will complete his residency qualification period on July 8, five years after arriving in England to join London Irish.
>Janse Van Rensburg’s first England experience could be in a non-cap game against a France XV in Vannes on June 19, providing Bristol Bears are not in the Gallagher Prem final the following day.
>The 29-year-old centre cannot play against the Springboks in Johannesburg on July 4, but he could make his England Test debut against Fiji at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium the following weekend.
Here's my personal opinion on the state of England's backs depth ahead of the Nations Championship. This is a combination of players who I think will be AND should be. I've used the allrugby.com website to try and consider minutes this season as exclusively as possible.
With some players playing multiple positions I've likely got some players in odd positions that they have not played recently so feel free to slate me.
