Dodgy builders
Genuinely saluting Felipe Contepomi for storming out of a press conference in protest at the thin internal walls and shoddy sound-proofing standards at their home stadium.
When you get dodgy builders in you have to take a stand.

Is it just me or are the colours they picked for the attendance grid really counterintuitive.
They just don't mean anything. Red when you miss out is okay but black for volunteering, cyan for a run and orange for doing both?
Surely we need orange for a run, magenta for volunteering and maybe blue, green or cyan for a both morning.
(I did day "minor" annoyance)
Bored of this lazy trope where every other nation gets to be cocky swaggering chest-beating snides and England are expected to be pious Edward the Confessor-like Saints at all times.
The media should call these teams out on it.
Argentina wore special kits specifically to tub our noses in it yet yet this weirdo is crying about how England celebrate in private? Nah.
Does anyone know how it works when we host these games? Do we get a fee for the hire of the stadium? Are the ticket sales going to the organisation putting the game on?
So far each event has been a huge success.
Hill Dickinson is a 30 minute walk from Liverpool town centre. Really simple to get to and a nice walk on a sunny day....or you can get the train from Moorfields to Sandhills.
There is a cluster of really good pubs at that end of town too whether you are walking or getting the train (Look up The Railway, The Lion, Thomas Rigbys or The Denbigh Castle)
If you are walking then along the way there is a decent number of newish bars until you get to the immediate area and there is a load of them opposite the entrances.
Once you are through the wall there is a really nice plaza where you can get food & drink and meet people. Inside the ground there is all the bars and food stands you'd expect at a modern stadium.
If you are just coming and going straight away then it might be worth parking at Maghull Station or Liverpool South Parkway and taking the train to Sandhills.
Today my battery seems to have stopped working. The system appears to be working with the solar.
When i look in the Devices screen on my Fox app it isn't in there.
I tried to detect it via Bluetooth but there is nothing popping up.
Is there a quick way to physically reset the device?
EDIT : i went up there and the battery was switched off. Not that the little circuit breaker had tripped. It was off at the button. The lights are back on now and it's at 40%.
I haven't been anywhere near it. Could it have shut itself down cause of the heat?
I presume we can talk about Your Party in the past tense now. An utter disaster from before it even started. Toxic egos revealing their true colours...I hope they get nowhere near a left wing platform again, let alone the reigns on power.
For years it was the centrists and the Blairites who took the blame for Corbyn's failure at Labour. Your Party's legacy will be that that excuse just doesn't hold water. We saw what Corbyn and his supporters were like to work with when they tried to work with each other for 5 minutes on something they all agreed on.
It's just a sad, sad thing.
Has anyone had their actual tickets emailed to them?
A few times he has popped up in popular culture referenced as a hugely fearsome character (Simpsons, Seinfeld etc). Is he looked at the way we'd look at Sir Alex Ferguson? (Awed respect) or someone like Roman Abramovich (seen as a totally ruthless basket-case)?

Was he the sort of character who would have enjoyed being satirised like he was in these shows?
Apologies if this is dumb. This just occurred to me. I am using the FoxCoud 2.0 app. If there is a power cut do I need to do anything?

At the moment it is scheduled to charge up at 2am and discharge down to 30% at 4pm.

If there is a power cut in my area will that just not work or do I have to manually disable the scheduling in the app?
Anyone here do parkrun?

What is the easiest way to get to the Donaupark for 9am (from Neu Wien).

Google seems to be saying it is quite tricky.
I am visiting next week for a week and really looking forward to it.
Can I pick your brains for insider tips on the following
- Historic sites
- parkrun
- hiking in the surrounding countryside
- beer
- food
After a really busy week, we went for some relaxation with Sky Team. Zero kerosene and minimum breaks, thankfully, coffees and steady wheel saved the day and we managed to land in Oslo safely.
A game that always relaxes us in a uniquely anxious way if I may say. Great balance, fun and suspense until the very last dice placement.
What kind of game to you play when you want to relax in an anxious way?
There needs to be more thought put into gamifying volunteering and creating that culture. Like making V-Index and V-Ratio a much bigger thing.
What other V challenges could there be?
On the recent thread about the app changing I mentioned Vingo where you get an 11 if your event has 11,111,211 finishers etc
Veephabet would be a thing but I understand why HQ does want to encourage V-tourism simply for the sake of it, there must be things you can do to hook people in the same way they do for the running challenges.
Any ideas?
It definitely looks like a child's Lego car but the ordinary EV2 drove really well. Hoping the Air doesn't sacrifice too much when it is launched with the bigger battery.
Anyone got a Kia EV? What is the functionality like to set up and use? (Only got to use it briefly during the test-drive)
Upon reflection what would you give this season? Who were the star pupils and who have to pull their socks up?
For me a solid B- which given our recent season's is welcome.
A season of relative stability and progress but one that offered a real opportunity that we missed.
Great work from Garner, Pickford, KDH, Grealish, Ndiaye and Gueye.
Honourable mention for Keane (supposed to offer cover but put in a shift all season) and, I suppose, O'Brien (contributing while out of position all season)
Dibling and Barry in particular need to focus on recovering and hitting the ground running next pre-season.
I think suspect you will get different answers from different sections of the fanbase. The match-going fans will probably be the most frustrated, I imagine the away-match going fans will probably be the most pleased.
How to compound an absolute sh*tshow
It's fairly easy to rectify once you know.
What was the thinking for the NL adopting designated hitter after all these years? (And what was the reaction of the fans?)
Also how is DH looked on in general? Speaking personally as an inexperienced MLB fan I think having every team member required to bat for their team feels more natural than the contrivance of a guy who doesn't field being there just to bat....was it just that pitchers usually aren't much good or was it just it limits their potential pitching endurance?
New version out today? Why have they tinkered with it again? It's really weird and confusing now.
