Built a Windows desktop widget for LeetCode. Would love some honest feedback.
Hey everyone!
I've been working on a small side project called SolveGrid—a lightweight desktop widget that keeps your LeetCode progress visible all the time.
The idea came from a simple problem: I wanted to see my progress without opening LeetCode every day. I found myself forgetting streaks or not feeling motivated because my progress was hidden behind a browser tab.
So I built a widget that sits on the desktop and automatically syncs your stats.
Current features:
- 📊 Total solved problems
- 🟢🟡🔴 Easy / Medium / Hard breakdown
- 🗓️ GitHub-style activity heatmap
- 🎯 Overall progress visualization
- 🔄 Auto-refresh every few minutes
- 🪟 Lightweight Windows desktop widget
- ⚡ Built with Tauri (Rust) for low memory usage
I'm trying to make it feel like a native productivity widget rather than just another stats dashboard.
Before I release it publicly, I'd really appreciate some feedback:
- Is this something you'd actually keep on your desktop?
- What features would make it genuinely useful?
- What would you remove or simplify?
- Any UI/UX suggestions?
- Would you prefer additional features like daily goals, streak reminders, contest countdowns, or recent submissions?
I'm open to all feedback—positive or negative. I'd rather hear what's wrong now than after release.
Thanks for taking a look! 🙌
