I built www.vocal2melody.com, a web tool that turns a complete audio into a MIDI file.
It's a tool only for melody.
You can upload a regular mixed song—no isolated vocals, stems, or individual instrument tracks required. The tool identifies the most prominent melodic line and exports it as a MIDI file that you can edit in your DAW.
It can be useful for:
- Recreating a vocal or instrumental melody
- Bringing a melody into your DAW
- Making arrangements, remixes, or covers
- Studying or transcribing a song
One important clarification: this is not a multi-track or multi-instrument transcription tool. It produces a single MIDI track representing the main melody—the part you would normally sing, hum, or play as the lead.
