Polestar denying a loaner on CPO Warranty

I have 2021 polestar 2 under CPO Warranty. My 12V battery died and it has gone to Volvo USA shop on Tuesday. They are saying it will take 1 week for the battery switch as they are busy. I asked for a loaner and they denied loaner is not available as it is only. the polestar site says I am eligible for loaner with CPO.

Unfortunately, the retailer is correct in that loaner vehicles and rental assistance are generally tied to the original manufacturer’s warranty coverage. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty coverage does not typically include loaner or rental reimbursement benefits in the same way.

While you are certainly welcome to obtain a rental vehicle at your own discretion, there is unfortunately no standard reimbursement process available under the CPO warranty program for those expenses.

Any rotating car seat recommendations for polestar 2

Hi Polestar Enthusiasts,

I have 2021 Polestar 2 and when I looked into car seat market, many people said our car might be small for rotating car seats. Has anyone any experience in using a rotating car seat in polestar 2 and can share their experiences. Which brand and model fit in your car ?

Tax Treatment for US-Granted RSUs Vesting After Move to India (FICA/Federal/CA)

I am planning a move from the US to India later this year while continuing my role with my current employer (FAANG like Facebook/Amazon/Google). I have a question regarding the tax treatment of stocks that were granted in the US in Jan 2026 but will continue to vest through 2030 while I am in India.

but I’m looking for clarity on the "trailing" US tax obligations for these specific stock grants. If you’ve made a similar move, could you share your experience on the following:

  1. FICA (Social Security & Medicare): Since there is no Totalization Agreement between the US and India, how is FICA handled on the US-sourced portion of a vest? Will I need to pay FICA taxes on prorated basis of vest ?
  2. I know I will have to pay CA state taxes on pro-rated basis. What about federal taxes ?
  3. Any insights on how the payroll split looks in practice or specific "gotchas" to watch out for during tax season would be greatly appreciated.

EPS withdrawal lower than anticipated

Hi,

I moved outside India and withdrew my EPF and EPS using form 19 and form 10C.

  • I contributed 1250 * 33 (33 months) = 41,250 into EPS.
  • On withdrawing I should been 40,950. 15000 (pensionable salary) * 2.73 (33 month factor from table D) = 40,950
  • But I got credit of 38,550 which is 15000 * 31 = 38,550.

So EPS stole 40,950 - 38,550 = 2,400 INR from me for no reason. What can I do ?

Note: I had spent 2 plus years in withdrawing EPF and EPS without paying any bribe to any babu as they were blocking withdrawals for random reason. I am willing to spend some time to get my money following the process in the system.
