A quick little rant about tolls
Hey there my fellow Shipt shoppers & customers
I shop in the Hampton roads area and they’re always offering promo for deliveries in the south Chesapeake area AND I SEE WHY as a driver no one wants to go to a area surrounded by tolls and every shop is a delivery over 20 minutes away from the store (like seriously every order is over 20 minutes away) we’re getting $9 to shop 20-50 items either no tip or $5 tip but the tolls are 2.70-$5 themselves one way and if you go around the toll the time changes to a 30 minute trip 😮💨 most the orders are for moyock,NC drop offs which requires cash or a expass
The promo orders don’t qualify so drivers skip over those in order to TRY to get the bonus which two times I’ve tried and missed it by one order as they stop lol 🤷🏽♀️ I mean idk what could help this I’m just ranting… the money isn’t worth the time, the gas, the tolls & mileage put on the vehicles… then they sit so long they’ll be late if taken and no one wants a late delivery ding… today will be my last day attempting trips in this area as it’s not worth it
