How's MCA at gl bajaj?

I heard so much about it's strictness, attendance policy, compulsory dress.

Honestly I don't have problem with that unless the placements are good enough that can get me a good ROI.

How is the MCA placement, it's faculty, coding culture?

What type of companies come for MCA?

I am an average with 8.1 cgpa in ug. I can do dsa and have good coding skills so for me how much can I get? Is 3-4lpa common there?

Any senior from MCA at gl bajaj, I want to contact you.

Should I accept TCS offer (1.96 LPA) after clearing BCS Ignite + Smart Hiring? Feeling confused.

Hi Everyone,

I really need some advice because I’m honestly very confused right now. I recently got an offer letter from TCS through BCS Ignite + Smart Hiring process. I cleared all rounds, and I was happy at first… but after seeing the package, I’m not sure anymore.

Offer Details: Package: 1.96 LPA Role: (not clearly explained yet, maybe support/non-development?) Location: not confirmed properly (will be given in joining letter but the location wouldn't be easy. Every tier 1 or 2 cities are costly)

The problem is that 1.96 LPA feels extremely low, especially considering the current cost of living, travel, rent, etc. I’m also worried that if I accept it, I might get stuck in a non-technical role and it could affect my career growth.

For background:

I’m from a BCA background (currently planning MCA / job both options)

I want to build my career in software development (backend / Java / Spring Boot)

I’ve done projects and I’m actively preparing for better roles too.

My questions are: Is it worth accepting TCS at 1.96 LPA just for the brand name? If I accept now, can I still switch later easily? Will this role even help me in development or will it be support work? Does accepting the offer letter mean I’m stuck and can’t apply elsewhere?

If I reject does that means I can't apply for a year of 2 again in TCS?

I’m feeling pressure because it’s a big company, but at the same time the salary is honestly disappointing.

If anyone has been through this process (Ignite/Smart Hiring) or knows about these roles, please guide me.

Thanks in advance 🙏

MCA college recommendation based on CUET Score

Hi everyone,
I scored 160 in cuet PG sqp09 computer science. I am General F. Top 3 are far for me I know. Suggest me some good colleges with decent placement. Fees not above 3 lakh in total.

In UPTAC counselling what can be my expected rank as I am planning to get admission through AKTU.

Preferred location: UP / nearby Lucknow like kanpur, noida, gaziabad

Is IET Lucknow possible at 160? and KNIT Sultanpur?

My friend is saying to go for GL Bajaj but they increased fees by 50000 per year this time.
