Got unmatched after video call, almost did something stupid
Had a really good match last week (29M/30F). Texting was fun, we laughed, even did a video call. Asked her out for saturday and she said yes.
Thursday night she just unmatched. No warning. Woke up at 2am and everything was gone.
I panicked and googled her. Found her real estate work profile. Almost messaged her there but stoped myself.
Thank fuck I did not. Once someone unmatches thats it. Reaching out other ways is creepy no matter what you tell yourself.
Still sucks tho. The video call got me too invested. We talked for like 40 minutes, felt real natural. I even got a decent webcam setup from work calls, with a ring light by the window. She said I had good lighting lmao. Guess thats something.
Whatever.. can’t let one ghost mess you up.
Anyone else get way too attached before even meeting irl?
Which CRM has the shortest set up time in your experience?
I’m the founder of a startup with a very small team of just five people. We’ve run into some roadblocks with the way we’ve been logging client data and contacts and need a serious CRM as we’ve outgrown our current organization strategy. Currently, our data is kind of a mess, all in different software, emails, google sheets, calendars, etc. It’s all on different platforms that don’t communicate with each other. We’ve recently looked into HubSpot but it seems pretty complex based on my free tier usage. Also pretty nickel and dimey. I really want something that’s efficient, all in one place, and where we don’t need to invest a lot of time just to structure everything.
Am I looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow here or are there existing CRMs out there where a quick timeline is achievable? Should I just suck it up and learn HubSpot?
