How i’m feeling after training.

I had a panic attack… but not because of anything bad. After 2 experiences with jobs that judged me harshly based on my disability… i found somewhere it was not instantly a deal breaker (i hope) and i don’t remotely know how to handle it. i’m so used to being thought of as a problem in a professional setting… (I’m kind but i talk a lot when asked things) i feel like maybe i found somewhere i don’t have to feel bad about myself…

more to come..i hope :)

training was awesomely boring…but i got through it

Question about Staples employee lockers — how big are they?

(I called my store and no one answered so i’m resulting to reddit)

Hi! I’m starting work at Staples and was wondering if anyone who currently works there (or has worked there recently) could tell me roughly how big the employee lockers usually are.
I’m mainly trying to figure out whether a laptop bag with a few personal items inside would fit comfortably. I know the lockers might vary by store, but I’d really appreciate an estimated size or even a comparison to something like a backpack, shoebox, etc.
If you happen to know the approximate height × width × depth, that would be amazing!
Thanks in advance! 😊

I have an interview and i have a question!

Hi! I am interviewing at my local staples tomorrow and I am unaware of what to bring with me as I’ve interviewed for many jobs in the past but this one feels a little different. Does anyone have any suggestions to bring with me like obviously I’ll bring my résumé though it’s not that big I feel like it could be substantial and they said to bring my photo ID… and I already have questions lined up for when I’m asked if I have any, but I was curious on if there’s anything else I should bring with me.

Manifesting !!

It is one of my dreams to work at a thrift store! or a consignment store! so i’m gonna manifest this shit into existence!

If there are any autistic friendly and disability friendly jobs in kingston at smaller or even bigger thirft shops please dm me! i’m applying to other jobs in the meantime! but i would love love love to help with donations and things of that nature! i would volunteer at the Restore but i need income before i can even fathom working with charity areas of work (I REALLY WANT TO) but im gonna put it out there into the world that there’s a kind hearted person with an unrivaled willingness to learn and help out. Please feel free to message me!

also any smaller businesses that may need smaller hours of help please feel free to DM me! i love helping out and would love to help people have a good day!
