I released my first Immersive Aircraft add-on!

I released my first Immersive Aircraft add-on!

The add-on is called Civilian Aviation!
It adds 7 airplanes and 2 helicopters, mostly modern aircraft but in a vanilla friendly style that blends naturally into Minecraft while still feeling distinct.

It also got some extra features such as

  • Fancy animation for levers and wings
  • Openable doors! (rmb)
  • Cool unique sounds for every plane
  • Engine sounds become muffled in first person perspective
  • Multiple color variants for every plane
  • Custom Spray Gun item for re-painting planes!
  • Retractable gear!

The models originally came from the IV official content pack, but since not everyone uses IV, I decided to bring them over so Immersive Aircraft players could enjoy them too.

For anyone interested, here are the links. Modrinth approval may still take a bit :P

Dumping some Dump Truck Activities

In this post im dumping my dump truck activities. You can see my dump truck dumping dirt out of its dump bed.
In fact, I made this dump bed have both a dump mode (which you would expect form a dump bed) and a place mode, so you can pave roads with it. Dont worry, it dumps and places non-dirt blocks just fine, even flowers or netherite blocks work.

I also made the dump bed accept any dropped items, like a giant hopper. So any item that is dumped in there gets dumped into the dump bed inventory.

I like how the sounds turned out though.

What the AAH button does is a secret.

Cars in this mod get dirty over time

This is a fancy system I made for my mod (Immersive Vehicles - Official content pack https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/transport-simulator-official-vehicle-set)
It basically keeps track of a mud score for a vehicle.

Technical stuff ahead!!!
If you drive on dirt, grass or clay with a speed greater than 5ms, it starts adding to that score every tick.
Time elapsed decreses this score slowly down to 50% min, being in water decreaes it, rain decreases it.
However, driving fast in the rain, that doubles the rate, in a thunderstorm it triples it, unless youre standing still, then the rain washes off the dirt quicker due to more downpour.

Im proud of this system so I wanted to share <3
