I accidentally left my sunglasses in the hotel restaurant last night. As soon as I realised back in my room, I immediately went downstairs, but they were already gone. I'm really upset as they were my favourite Ray-Bans and more importantly a sentimental gift.
These sunglasses are very sentimental to me as I got them overseas and was gifted them by a very special person in my life. I've reached out to the hotel to check, and nothing has been handed in. I have asked to check cameras as I know the time I was in the seating area, but they keep fobbing me off.
I feel incredibly sad, and i know it's not the end of the world, but im struggling with the loss of them as they represented a special time of my life and gifted to me by a great person. Looking for advice on how to deal with this, I know if they check cameras, it will show who picked up the glasses. Thanks guys
