Has Cuban cigar QC gotten noticeably worse lately?

Hey everyone!

Yesterday I saw this format for the first time — bought a pack with 3 tubos inside, for 110eur. Went out to the terrace in the evening to enjoy a cigar, and 2 out of the 3 were almost impossible to smoke because the draw was completely plugged.

I had to pull so hard that by the end of it my lips probably qualified for a gym membership.

Lately I’ve been noticing this kind of issue more and more with Cuban cigars. Maybe I’m imagining it, but years ago when I bought a box, maybe 10–15% would have serious construction problems. Based on my purchases over the last year — and I smoke cigars pretty regularly — it honestly feels closer to 25–30% now.

Curious if others are noticing the same thing lately, or if I’ve just been unusually unlucky.

Thinking about trying AoS RPG stuff — worth it?

Cubicle 7 has some pretty huge discounts right now, so I started thinking about picking up some AoS books. Problem is I know basically nothing about Age of Sigmar.

I’m a big fan of 40k and The Old World, but AoS somehow always passed me by. I also play RPGs pretty casually, mostly with family and friends once in a while.

We tried Wrath & Glory, Maledictum and WHFB RPG before. WHFB especially felt way too much like old-school crunchy tabletop systems for me. Nothing wrong with that, just didn’t really click with our group, so we ended up sticking with D&D.

Recently though, a friend sent me a session report from his AoS campaign and he sounded insanely excited about it. Now I’m wondering if I should finally give AoS a chance and try to get into the rules.

How difficult is it compared to the other Warhammer RPGs? And is it enjoyable if you’re mostly there for the world/lore and not hardcore mechanics?
