Rarely get to compliment Vine, but today was different - Liberty Walk!

Scored not 1 but 3 Liberty Walk T Shirts today. These showed up in AFA of all places and was over 16 hours old by the time I saw the listing, but they're still sitting there for y'all!

If your a car nut, it's definitely a dated, but still relevant brand. I go to Japan often and actually went to the LB store in Harajuku in Shibuya and bought my kid one of their $50 t shirts as a souvenir. Nice to claw some of that back!

First of all respect to anyone into gunpla and military subjects but these are two areas I simply haven’t ventured into in my car model kit building journey.

Having said that, I recently attended the Herb Deeks kit show in socal and was quite disappointed. I go to shows as frequently as I can but this was my first time at this show and sadly the primary vendors sold military based kits. And don’t get me wrong, if that’s your bag, have at it. Pricing is awesome and so is the selection.

However, when it came to japanese car kits which is what I am primarily into, the pickings were slim. And, when there was the occasional Tamiya kit, they were asking collector level pricing.

Sadly though, all I ended up with was the monogram kit and my very first gundam kit and believe me, I forced myself to buy it so I didn’t go home empty handed.

I’m still looking forward to building these kits but let’s just say I can’t wait til the next swap meet.
