Has anyone successfully withdrawn from TDSOL after enrollment?

Hi! I enrolled at TDSOL last July 1, but I’ve changed my mind and decided to pursue UST instead, although I’m still waiting to see if I’ll get accepted.

Is it still possible to withdraw my enrollment from TDSOL and retrieve the original documents I submitted so I can pass them to UST? Has anyone here gone through the same process? I’d really appreciate any advice.

Thank you!

Western Union branches in NCR that release money claims in USD instead of PHP?

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of any Western Union branches in Metro Manila/NCR that can release cash pickups in US dollars (USD) instead of automatically converting them to Philippine pesos?

I’m receiving a remittance that’s sent in USD, and I’d prefer to claim it in USD if possible.

If you’ve personally claimed USD recently, I’d really appreciate if you could share:

* The specific branch/location
* Whether you had to request the USD payout in advance or reserve the cash
* Any requirements or tips

Thanks in advance!

UST FCL Interview Process After LSAT

Hi! I already finished taking the UST LSAT earlier this morning. I’ll be going home to the province on June 28, and I was wondering if anyone knows how the interview process works.

Will all applicants who took the exam have a chance to be interviewed? Also, will the interview be conducted online or face-to-face? If anyone has an idea, when could be the possible target dates for the interviews and the results if we pass or not?

Thank you so much for any information! 😊

Am I the only one who found Knives Out underwhelming?

https://preview.redd.it/uc6loyc6wn4h1.png?width=797&format=png&auto=webp&s=15d43769e7105715f4317107e60ca089060088a4

Please tell me I'm not the only one who found Knives Out (2019) bland.

I finally watched it and I found the progression of the story, up until the big revelation, pretty underwhelming. The mystery didn't hit as hard as I expected, and the reveal left me feeling more "that's it?" than shocked.

I'm wondering if it's because I've gotten so used to the storytelling style of Agatha Christie's Poirot adaptations, where Poirot carefully unravels the case and walks the audience through the clues and motives. Compared to that, Knives Out felt very different.

So what am I missing? Is the movie intentionally designed that way and I'm just not the target audience? Or is it possible that I simply didn't enjoy Chris Evans' portrayal of Ransom/Hugh, which affected my overall experience?

Would love to hear from people who loved the movie and understand why it clicked for them.

Incoming TDSOL Student Looking for Advice on Housing and Safety

Hi everyone! I’m a 25F who will be entering TDSOL this July. I’ve already committed to staying at MyTown LA, but I’m honestly a bit anxious about walking alone in the area, especially since I’ll be new to the environment.

I was hoping to get some insights from current students or anyone familiar with the area:

  1. Is anyone else here planning to stay at MyTown LA this coming school year?

  2. Are there any safer walking routes between MyTown LA and TDSOL that you would recommend?

  3. Do you know of any alternative places to stay that are relatively near the school (preferably within walking distance)?

  4. Also, if you’re a female student looking for a female roommate, feel free to DM me so we can talk more about it.

I’d really appreciate any advice, tips, or personal experiences. Thank you so much.
