Update: ROARBANK PAID ME 11k BUT NOT THE FULL COMPENSATION AMOUNT!!!

Update: Roarbank was delaying my credit card closure and forcing to activate my “physical card” just to close my card. Although, the digital card was already active. I tried to get it settled and asked them to close my card and pay me a compensation of 5k, they denied. After RBI complaint they instantly acted and closed the card and paid me 11k for the delay. Now I am going to proceed with mental anguish claim. Because, in my complaint in RBI Ombudsman I mentioned that too.

What should be my next step here? And am I at fault?

Important dates :-
Date of request for closure - 4th July, 2026
First reply from them - 12th July
My first reply - On the same day
Second reply - 14th of July
My second reply - Immediately after them.

I requested to close this card coz it was misold to me.
It’s the 7th working day since I asked them to close my card and still that card is active.

What should I do?

GOD, HSBC AND THEIR VKYC NORMS.

Bro, in vkyc they act like they are FBI agents or what. Firstly the wait. I waited around 30 mins just to get a kyc agent. Then, they 1000s of questions. I have 6 credit cards now and never faced such an issue. Also, I answered everything correctly and precisely. I don’t know what is reason of “Video KYC could not ve verified successfully “.

What if ICICI launch a card with Accor.

I was recently scrolling instagram and I saw one reel where the person was saying that ICICI should launch a card in partnership with Accor as their cards are already very weak. If ICICI does that they’ll be the undisputed kings of CC in India. What’s your opinion?

I am so freaking angry with HDFC!!!

So what happened is, my first card with HDFC was Swiggy which is LTF and it’s basically my daily driver for all the online purchases. When I applied for HDFC Swiggy I didn’t knew that I won’t be able to get a “core” card from them later on. Now I’ve tried everything that I could I even visited a branch to get a “core” card so that I can upgrade it down the line and all I got is a cold shoulder. Their service is extremely bad (atleast the branch I visited). I went to the credit card helpdesk and all they did was try to evade me. I asked what are my options and they said just close this current card and apply for a core card after 6 months and after getting that wait for another 6 months to apply for Swiggy. I simply said first of all my current card is LTF and I don’t know if I’ll get that LTF as well. Also, waiting a year for a card is kind of ridiculous and inefficient and who knows by then it gets devalued. So I went back home and I got a mail that you have pre approved offer of “Tata Neu Infinity variant” and infinity variant is important here. So I said let’s see, I applied and the card got approved. But then what I see I got the “plus” variant. Now I am not activating that card. God HDFC can be annoying.

Anyone wanna give me heads up for MHI ACs?

Hey everyone,

My Voltas AC’s compressor recently broke and after a through research I’ve landed on Mitsubishi Heavy Industries AC 1.65 ton for top floor two side open home. Is there anything you can share that I should keep in mind. Coz I’ve heard the after sales service is not very good. Also, I am going to get it installed in South Delhi. Also, any real user experience anyone would share it would be really helpful. Thanks ☺️

What’s the point of doing vkyc if you want reject the application.

I recently applied for HSBC TravelOne due to Atlas not being issued any more. I provided my salary slips, my bank statements (which is well within their eligibility criteria). They did the vkyc and told me that vkyc was successful. I just received this email saying they rejected the application. I don’t understand how can they not verify my employment. Given I have provided with salary documents and even bank statements.
