I just realised my female friend and the girl im sort of interested is my former bully

So this may sound crazy, but you've got to believe me.

Back then, I was just a little wimpy wunk and used to go to a school overseas because my dad was working abroad. In that overseas school, most of the students shared our nationality, so we saw each other pretty often. Anyway, our school had a system where you went to a different classroom for each subject.

During my younger days, in two of my classes, there was this girl who was a major jerklike, genuinely awful.

Lets call her lili/lily.

It all started when she accused me of stealing her water bottle. For context, she and her friends had left, and me and my only friend sat down at her table. She came back and claimed it was her table because her bag was there, but we argued that we had already settled in for lunch, so nuh-uh. (Her bag was actually under the table, so none of us even saw it.) Then it spiraled into her accusing me of stealing from her.

Anyway, soon after that since I was the one who mostly did the arguing while my homie stayed silentI became her main target. She would hide my diary (I got inspired by Diary of a Wimpy Kid lmao) and make fun of me and shit. It was nothing physical, but she could probably have taken me down since I was skinny as hell.

One of her favorite pranks involved the school tablets. The school wanted to save money, I guess, so they gave us all these terrible tablets with a specific app on them. She would grab my tablet and change the password. When I confronted her about it, she would make me do some stupid-ass chores, and after I did them, she would just put in a random password arguing that while she promised to give me a password, it didn't have to be my actual password. When I reported her to the teacher, she would change it back. She did get scolded every now and then, so, you know, justice I guess.

There is a lot more she did. One major thing happened on a school trip. My friend dared me to go somewhere, and while I was trying to catch up to him, she tripped me and I crashed to the floor. I was so embarrassed because I was the only one stuck in the medical bay while everyone else had fun. When we talked to the guidance counselor, she claimed she didn't mean it, her friend backed her up, and neither of them got punished especially since the scoundrel accused me of faking the whole thing just to blame her.

Anyway, after all that, my mom wanted to move back to our home country to be with our extended family, while my dad stayed abroad to keep working.

Anyway, I went back to a private school, and for three years it was alright. I trained to get better, and since I was bullied and shit, I learned to be tougher and friendlier to people so I could make more friends. I was pretty much no longer a wimp.

Anyway, I became more devoted to self-improvement because my old friend told me the reason the bully kept picking on me was because I looked like an easy target and was a bit of a loner. So I started to work out a bit and eat more to be less skinny (by the way, I barely got any bigger (man, I hate my body sometimes 😭😭😭)). I had a group of friends, and there weren't many jerks anymore, which was really good.

Fast forward to the last grade before college, and I joined a new class. It was all nice, and I was 17 now. Most of my former classmates switched schools for some reason, probably just a coincidence so half of our class was made up of new people. There wasn't much to talk about at first, but I made friends with a few people, and more precisely, this one girl.

She caught me off guard. She was sort of pretty, and this might sound a bit mean, but most of our other girls were mid... (They were nice, like, the girls were genuinely nice, I just didn't find them pretty, though they were great friends). That's why she stood out. Anyway, I really liked her, but she didn't resemble anyone I knew, so I got close to her.

We had a lot of similarities: both of us liked karaoke and some Roblox games, she was also a cat person, and we both knew a similar series. Naturally, she became part of my new friend group. We started talking more, and I really liked her. Let's call her Elizabeth.

So we started hanging out more... to the point where we hung out without our friend group, like just the two of us. On our second hangout, we went to a cat cafe, played table hockey and bowling at an arcade, and then went to a restaurant to eat.

Anyway, we started talking about our past after she got curious about why I worked out. She ended up telling me about her past and all that, mentioning how she used to be annoyed by this kid back in the day. And somehow... I asked her what country she went to since her family had also worked abroad.

And she said the name of our former school.

I... lied to her and said I went to a different school, but internally I was totally hysterical. Like, this girl sitting right in front of me was probably her. But I didn't push it or ask any further because I liked her and figured she might get the ick.

So the subject changed, and later I checked her name out. I asked my former friend from abroad (had to track his ass down on Facebook since we weren't close anymore). After a bit of catching up, I asked what the name of the girl who messed with me was, but he said he forgot. (To be fair, I was a loner back then, remember? So I didn't pay much attention to class rosters and genuinely only knew her as "Lily" or something.)

We did a bit of digging and confirmed it from My friends old class picture. (Our class pics had names written on the back of the plastic cover. (I also threw my class pic since I hated it and it was a symbol of being someone new.))

It was her.

Elizabeth -> Ellie -> Lily. It was a nickname.

And I was fucking shocked.

Anyway, I really don't know what to do. I like her, but she was the bitch... so now I'm really confused.

She's nice now and acts like the typical nice girl, but I'm scared to talk to her about it because I'm afraid she'll push me away. Call me a simp, but if you were in my shoes, you would also bark for her.

She's tall and hot.

So fahh.

I might be delusional, but hey, I just really wanted to share this.

Also I tried to make an omelette.

MY problem with Sea Power (Check comments)

I’m playing the USS Scott in a Pacific '85 mission, and I’ve run into a really frustrating issue with the dual missile launchers.

When two enemy Yaks rush me from the bow, I fire two RIM-66 Standard Missiles. But instead of launching both from the forward dual-arm launcher, the ship behaves strangely:

  1. The forward launcher loads both missiles, but only fires one.
  2. The second missile goes back down into the magazine.
  3. The ship then physically turns around to use its rear dual launcher for the second missile!

This is a massive problem. Turning the entire ship wastes precious time, and as the enemy jets close in, my hit probability drops drastically (down to "Effectiveness: Poor").

Why does a Kidd-class destroyer have a forward dual launcher if the AI insists on rotating the ship to use the rear one anyway? If it's going to act like a single-arm launcher, I might as well be using a single-arm ship!

Is this an AI bug, or was there some stupid protocol for this in the 1980s? It's really annoying!
