Looking for feedback on Latelyy, my privacy-nu first life timeline app

Hi all

I recently released my iOS app Latelyy and I’d love to get some honest feedback from other iOS devs.

Latelyy is a privacy-first life timeline app that quietly helps you understand your days by using motion, location, and optional Apple Health data to build a personal timeline. The idea is to make it easier to see patterns in your routine without having to manually journal everything. All of this happens 100% locally.

App Store link:

https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/latelyy/id6764419761?l=en-GB

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

- First impression from the App Store page
- Whether the app’s purpose is clear
- Onboarding and permission explanations
- UI/UX polish
- Pricing, is it too much/too little?
- Anything that feels confusing, unnecessary, or concerning from a privacy perspective

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

I made an app called Latelyy and I’m looking for some external testers for TestFlight.

Latelyy is a passive, privacyfirst life tracking app that quietly builds a timeline of your day in the background. It automatically logs things like:

  • places you visit
  • walking/driving/exercise activity
  • time spent at locations
  • daily movement patterns

The idea is that you install it, live your normal life, and the app slowly builds a personal timeline automatically without manual input.

I’m mainly looking for people willing to test the app for a few days up to about a week so I can see how it behaves in real-world usage across different devices and routines.

Things I’d really like feedback on:

  • Is the timeline accurate?
  • are places detected correctly?
  • Does movement/activity detection feel believable?
  • Does the app work reliably in the background?
  • Any battery drain or overheating?
  • Any bugs, crashes, freezes, weird animations, or UI issues?
  • Is anything confusing or unclear?
  • Does the app actually feel useful or interesting to check?

Important:
For the app to work properly, please allow:

  • “Always” location access (manually enable this in your phone's Settings)
  • Precise Location
  • Motion & Fitness access

Appreciate it!
