I (25M) am 9 years post op on my spinal fusion surgery. Before surgery I was 56 degrees in the top and 30 something in the bottom.

I am new to Reddit and just found this page, I have a few questions:

-People who have had fusion surgery, what is your daily life like? I don’t notice myself having any limitations at all really, I work in construction and can keep up with just about anybody, are you able to go about life without thinking about your operation? Are you limited post op?

-How much back pain do you live with? If any, and you could describe it, how would you?

-I haven’t been to a doctor for my back in years, probably close to 8 years. Should I do a check up? Things to look out for as I and my hardware get older?
