AITA for not wanting to be in a work groupchat

Recently at a job I’ve had for about 6 years they started trying to do coworker activities. I like my job and I’m alone at my job most of the time. Most of them know I’m introverted and I’m friendly and will talk to coworkers while on the clock but I do not care to be friends with most of them. I’m pretty open about how I like to keep my work life and home life separate and don’t give out my personal number or social media accounts to fellow coworkers. If they pop up or somehow get my number I’ll block them. Out of maybe the 15 people I work with on a daily I’ll talk to two of them outside of work, one lives down the road and the other has generally the same interests and we have mutual friends outside of work. For the rest I don’t park near them, I don’t each lunch with them, and I don’t actively work with them as I have my own duties that are typically away from the crews. Lately though they’ve been doing group chats. I despise this. They are constantly sending memes and tagging each other about shows, asking about lunch plans, etc. I’ve asked to be removed and stated I don’t want to be involved and would rather keep my work and personal life separate but they keep adding me back. This to me this feels like harassment, but I’m told it’s the “work group” and it’s for “work updates”. So am I justified or aita?
