For those who don't know, early drafts of the Avengers script featured the Wasp in place of Black Widow due to concerns Scarlett Johansson wouldn't be available for filming.

How differently do you think the MCU would've played out if they had been forced to use this version of the script?

I'm not sure how Edgar Wright would handle this, considering his movie hinges on shrinking tech being pretty rare.

I could see Widow returning in Winter Soldier and maybe getting a brief appearance in AoU like War Machine and Falcon. She'd likely be far less prominent in the MCU overall though.

If Marvel and DC both lost their biggest cash cows which company would be more screwed? Marvel without Spider-Man or DC without Batman (this also includes any adjacent characters, rogues galleries, etc.)?

Do you think he could’ve worked as the character?
