ECE (Specialization in VLSI)

I am confused between both options.

On LinkedIn, I asked students from IIIT Delhi, and they told me to choose IIIT Allahabad. However, a student from IIIT Allahabad told me that the placement scenario there is not good.

According to the eligibility list, I am only eligible for:

NIT Surathkal (but my GATE score is not sufficient for it)

IIIT Allahabad

NIT Jaipur

And the lower nits.

And I have chances of getting IIIT DELHI in the next round.

I have a chance of getting ECE (VLSI) at IIIT Delhi.

The first-round merit list will be released on 18 May, and if I’m selected, I’ll have to pay ₹2,10,000 by 25 May. This is a huge amount for me because the money isn’t just sitting in my account, and my parents would have to somehow arrange it.

I know the entire amount will be refunded if i cancel the admissions further, but still

So, I genuinely want advice on whether I should take the risk and pay the fee .

Because i have read somewhere on reddit that the whole placement scene in IIIT DELHI is Cse oriented very less and almost zero core ece roles are offered.

I wanted to ask about the M.Tech ECE (VLSI) program at IIIT DELHI .

Could you please share your review regarding the 1.academics

2.faculty

3.workload

4.placements

and overall campus experience?

And is it worth it or not?
