Can I just… vent. About parts and not even obscure parts

So our 86’ standard is my wife’s daily driver. And by that I mean she drives it about a half a mile to and from her job. It’s needs an oil change. So I’m like no problem I’ll take care of it. Get underneath with my 14mm and the fucking oil bolt: too large. Fine. I get a 13, it’s STILL to large but it’s too large like “oh shit this is going to strip the bolt, what the fuck?” Go and get a 12 just to be sure I’m not going crazy: “nope too small.” So now I’ve got a fucking 1/2” bolt on a Toyota.

WTF. They make these? So.. I go get a 1/2”. It fits. Fine. I turn.. and the fucking thing rounds the bolt corners like butter.

Are you fucking kidding me? So im trying to think: ok.. you’ve changed the oil before when was the last time. And the last time was when I switched the oil pan about a year ago..because the old one was done.. and that was a huge pain in the ass.. but I recall 12 mm bolts securing it.. but fucking 1/2” oil pan bolt? I’m supposed to secure this with metric AND then imperial sizes?

What: that fuck.

So now I’ve got to take my vehicle to get oil changed and hope they can get this fucking bolt off.

And yes I tried both vice grips AND swearing at it. Fucking piece of shit…. Anyways I’ll see you all tomorrow. ❤️

So… for the past year? Year ish I’ve been, and I don’t want to hear any judgement from you mouthwash drinking fuckers

So for the past year I’ve been drinking.. these corona Sunswap beers. Yea whatever laugh laugh.. but you know…. I don’t know i kind like em.

Anyways I was at my local corner store… and they only had these weird 12 pack cans.. and two six packs of bottles .. so there’s a. Big line of folks and I’m holding a can of soda… so I grab ONE 6 pack..I didn’t want to get stuck in this every forming line get up there and you know.. it’s my regular and I say hey charge me twice for these bottles I’ll run back and get the other six pack.

And he goes “well I got a 12 back in cans”.

And I say “yea but fucking… you know.. cans?!?”

So.. I leave but now I’m at home and I realize: “what the fuck are you doing? Complaining about Corona Sunsweep beers…
What like the can version could even taste worse?

But I’m also saying shut the fuck voice in my head: who are to judge me.. hell you’re the reason I said “yea but bottles” fucking ass hole.

What do you think? Should I have just accepted it and bought the beer cans or stuck to my guns like “hey I’m the only one that actually drinks this shit, and uh.. send a message like: I might be a cheap drunk ass fool but that doesn’t mean you can change shit up and think I won’t push back.

I mean it’s a two way street right? I give you money. You provide for me.
Am I crazy for pushing back?

Im setting boundaries.

I’d like to dedicate this post to all my fellow CA’s who worry about their local corner store judging them. As least your local corner store holds you down.
