Wir wohnen im Norden und immer wieder breitet sich ein übler Mineralölgeruch aus. Meistens abends oder nachts. Es ist so stark, dass man die Fenster geschlossen halten möchte, was jetzt im Sommer gerade nachts keine Option ist. Ich habe bisschen recherchiert und nur alte Berichte gefunden, es wirkt so als wäre das für alle hier normal. Kennt ihr diesen Geruch und wisst mehr? Es wird safe die Gunvor Raffinerie sein, oder?

I want to share this here in case it can help anybody who goes through the same pain as I did.
I'm from the EU, so not sure if this way can work for everybody.

My situation:
I played GTA V in 2018 through Steam and the Rockstar account has been linked to my steam account since. When changing the email of the steam account, I forgot to update the Rockstar account. After a recent purchase of RDR2 I couldn't login to the Rockstar account since it would always send a verification code to my old email address that I no longer had access to.

I created tons of tickets over a period of several weeks, mostly of the kind "Trouble signing into your account > Lost access to email". Almost all got closed within 15 minutes after creation, 1-2 ended up at tier 2 support and then got closed. In 90% of responses I just got told that ownership of the account couldn't be verified, even if I provided lots of proof.

This is what worked for me.
Requirements:
- create a new Rockstar account so you can answer on tickets via the support dashboard, email should match the one you use in steam
- collect proof of ownership that the account you request recovery is actually yours
-- steam account ID
-- screenshots of your account in steam
-- screenshots of receipts for purchased games
-- screenshot of the started game with the Rockstar login displaying that it sent the code to your old address
- create a txt file (I named it "explanation-read-me-please.txt") that contains your situation and has a short description of each screenshot (use numbers that match screenshot file names)

Then:
- login with the new account
- create a new ticket but choose "Account > Privacy and Account information > Other privacy and account information issue"
- write a short description (the long one is in your txt file), it should contain:
-- you're trying to change the email of account with [old_email]
-- you don't have access to the email inbox anymore
-- you opened multiple tickets that got closed because Rockstar couldn't verify your ownership, but no one ever told you what further proof was needed
-- [EU only] you're from the EU and under GDPR you have a right to correct your personal data
-- attached is proof of ownership of the linked steam account with ID [steam ID]
- upload all your files in that same form

I think I got an automated reply afterwards, that wanted me to pick a number of what best describes my problem. I picked 5 ("I want to modify account details (e.g. email, nickname)"). I also added another sentence briefly describing the issue again and that I created a new account since there is no other way to contact support, and that proof of ownership is in my first message.

After 1 day I got a reply from a Tier 3 support member who apologized for the inconveniences, removed my contacting account, changed the email from my old account to my contacting email address and sent me an email with instructions to reset my password.
