Where does this connector plug in?

Cant remember nor find what this plugs into. Goes onto that silver bracket. cant find the other side anywhere. Left side valve cover.

does this look okay for mitzone valve cover?

thats the seperation when the cover is fully seated. these are mitzone covers. Is mine warped? or is this normal and when I tighten it down, it will come down?
