Help with shading.
Pretty much the title, need some advice on shading, what I did wrong and what I did right. The first image is the newest, the last image is the oldest.

So I got curious about just how many dragons were missing from certain families/groups. I only did this for the different versions of the common single element dragons, and I excluded the Risens, as they aren't all released yet. The results were as follows:
Doubles:
They are missing Double Archangel, Double Dark, Double War, Double Wind, Double Time, Double Legend, and all the ancient element doubles.
Duos:
They are missing Duo Nature, Duo Metal, Duo Dark, Duo Time, Duo Magic, and Duo Beauty.
Corrupted:
They're missing Corrupted Terra, Corrupted Dark, Corrupted Light, Corrupted Wind, Corrupted Pure, and all the ancient element corrupted, excluding Corrupted Chaos.
Titans:
They're missing Time Titan, Legend Titan, and all the ancient element Titans.
Pures:
They're missing Pure Archangel, Pure War (Unless you count Kratus, which I personally do but not everybody does), Pure Wind, Pure Time, Pure Legend, Pure Primal... and technically all the ancient element pures too.
Supers:
Literally everything except Nature, Flame, and Terra.
Knights:
Everything except Ice, Flame, Nature, Electric, Light, and Dark.
Zombies:
Everything except Flame, Terra, and Nature.
Virago:
Everything except Sea, Flame, Nature, and Pure.
Should I do others? Feel like there are other families that are missing some stuff.
You, unfortunately, are transported in to the Gu World as an otherworldly demon. Fortunately for you, you have been born into the second best region to live in and you get to pick your clan! Which clan do you pick?
Final poll on this subject. Thought I would change things up a bit. Which version of the classic elemental dragons do you like the most?
Results of the last poll:
I just checked out of curiosity and one of the accounts where I had arena cooldowns no longer does... did they get rid of it? Please tell me they got rid of it.
Not the most insane luck in the world, but it’s a free 100 Sinful Orbs so hey.
Which version of the classic elemental dragons do you like the least?
Well last poll was a tie : / so I’m just gonna go off my own personal bias. I personally like the Duos more, even if the doubles are technically more useful, I just like the designs more and the names. All in all, just more interesting. So, per the results of the last polls:
Classic moves on to the next poll. Getting close to being done.
If Fang Yuan had chosen to fight Tai Bai Yun Sheng when he first ascended to an immortal, instead of tricking him, would he have won?
>You are locked in a room with Magnus Carlsen, both of you are immortal, cannot die of old age or hunger or go insane. Magnus Carlsen is always at 100 percent mental prowess and his skill does not deteriorate. You only start with your current skill level in chess.
>You can only go out of the room when and if you beat him in a chess game, a classical chess game with 90 minutes each and a 40 minute buffer after move 40 and 5 second increments per move.
>The answer is that no human (except other great current chess players like Hikaru, Fabiano, Anish, etc.) can ever beat him and get out. the reason being is that most people who play and study chess their entire life never become GM and only ever get the IM title , and of them, the difference between a grand master vs a GM in the top 20 is that between an IM and a GM. so realistically you never break out of the room.
I don't agree with this take but want to see what other people have to say
I am assuming this is a bug/glitch since it only applies to one of my accounts and not the other, and if it’s not and is intended this is a genuinely retarded decision, why would you implement this for some accounts and not others? You want to complete rush or arena pass? You in the wrong group? Well fuck you, you don’t get to complete those while other people get to for no fucking reason.
Which version of the classic elemental dragons do you like the least?
As per the last polls:
8. Vintage (Old Skins)
9. Knights
10. Titans
11. Zombies
12. Supers
You, unfortunately, are born into the Gu World as an otherworldly demon. Luckily, you are born into one of the best possible regions to live in, Central Continent, and it is discovered that you do have a Gu Master aptitude, meaning you can join a sect. Which sect do you join and why? I had to put multiple sects together to fit all the sects in this poll, so explain your reasoning for the specific sect down in the comments.
Does anyone know why they did this? Is it a temporary thing? Is it permanent? Genuinely might just quit the game if it stays, that is so dumb
So somebody in this subreddit took a popular subreddit art post from over 5 years ago, did not credit the original poster, presented it as their own, and reuploaded it. I want to know what the rules are on that are? Is it grounds for the post to be removed?
So I realized the other day that a significant chunk of my posts and comments are nothing but criticism toward Dragon City, which, while deserved, I feel like it gives off the wrong impression that I hate Dragon City or something, which I don't. So here is a post that goes over some things about Dragon City that I like.
For starters, Dragon City has made some massive improvements in f2p experience since I've been gone. Take, for example, Joker Orbs. Before I recently came back to Dragon City, so about 2 to 3 years ago, Joker Orbs were an absolute pain in the ass to get. Now, we have things like the Arena Pass, which makes obtaining Joker Orbs a lot easier. Also, take the XL food box in the dragon TV for f2p players. I swear, and I could be wrong here, that was not always a thing.
Secondly, combat. While there a lot of things to criticize about Dragon City's combat system, it is undeniably a lot more interesting and fun than it used to be. Back when Dragon City first came out, while the combat system wasn't bad, it wasn't anywhere near as fun or interesting as it is today. The whole orbs system and being able to empower your dragons is actually a somewhat fun and interesting mechanic too, when it's utilized properly.
Third, breeding. While I have many, many gripes about the "new" breeding system, or just how they have done breeding in general, the fact that you can technically get a legendary on every single breed now, so long as the dragons you are breeding have the correct empowerment and perks is a nice little addition, even if I still think some of them don't make sense and that breeding itself deserves an overhaul. Not to mention, the fact you can actually SEE the potential results of what you are getting, without having to look up some random youtube video, is great.
Fourth, trading. I genuinely cannot stress enough how much I am thankful for this feature existing. Without it, obtaining certain dragons would become a damn nightmare, and I know Social Point is greedy enough to have very easily not implemented something like this, which makes me all the more glad that they did.
Fifth, design and graphics. While I am not a fan of the design direction that Dragon City took, going from actual dragons to more anthropomorphic lizard people, you absolutely cannot deny how much better they are to look at than the old dragons. You can tell just how much the visuals have improved if you just take a look at an old dragon and compare it to a newer one. Even if I don't like the design choices, you cannot deny that these new "dragons" at least look cool, especially the VIPs and the HVIPs. If they looked more like dragons, they would be quite literally perfect in my opinion.
Sixth, events. There is a lot of mixed feelings for me on events, and I definitely like some events a lot more than others (looking at you tower, and I guess puzzle too, even though that has been removed), but they do an excellent job of keeping the game from getting stale. Just think for a moment on what you would do if events didn't occur at all? I know that I would probably get bored of the game a lot more easily. The heroic race, even if it doesn't really give any strong dragons anymore, used to be a really good event. It occured fairly frequently, meaning if you were a new player who just joined, you didn't have to wait that long to see one, even if one just occurred, and they gave you the strongest rarity dragons in the game. That was such a cool thing and I really enjoyed them, getting really excited when they happened, and still do, even if to a lesser extent.
Seventh, ads. Oh boy there is a lot to unpack here. I really hate the fact that mobile games just spam ads at you for just existing and playing the game, and I'm really frutstrated that Dragon City seems to have taken that route too. Luckily, this doesn't seem to happen on my main accounts anymore even though it did when I had just come back. It still occurs on my new account (if anybody knows why this happens, please let me know), but one thing I do really like about how Dragon City does ads, or at least used to do ads, is the Dragon TV. Being given the choice to watch ads in exchange for some actual decent rewards was honestly something I really appreciated. You weren't forced to watch ads, but if you decided to you were actually rewarded for the time spent in doing so. The same thing extends to the ad skips for hatching and breeding and other wait timers. I really enjoy that they added that, instead of forcing you to spend gems any time you want to skip some ridiculously long wait time with gems.
Anyway, those are seven things I like about Dragon City. They aren't everything, but they are the major ones I can think of off the top of my head. Dragon City has definitely improved on a lot of things compared to where they once started, even if I feel like they take two steps back for every one step they take forward, but I wanted to change things up a bit and show that I do notice when they try to do good things and make good changes, and it is appreciated. Is there anything you think I've missed? And what do you like about Dragon City, new or otherwise?
When you promote to a new arena, for whatever fucking reason, Social Point decided it would be a good idea to have it automatically change your dragons to your "strongest" dragons. I have an idea, why not just leave the dragons I picked alone, as I picked them for a pretty damn good reason.
Which feature more desperately needs an update? Which would you rather see updated? Explain why in the comments.
