Finally found a Bengal proof water fountain — the snap clip makes all the difference

Finally found a Bengal proof water fountain — the snap clip makes all the difference

We have two very active Bengal cats, and one of the biggest problems we’ve had with cat water fountains is that most of them have an open/top lid design. Our cats quickly figured out how to lift the lid with their teeth, remove it, and play with the water inside. That usually ended with water spilled everywhere.

Over the past weekend, we bought this oneisall stainless steel water fountain from Amazon, and so far it has been the best design we’ve tried for our Bengals.

The biggest win is the snap clip/locking lid design. The top actually stays secured in place, so our cats can’t pull it off like they did with the other fountains. That one feature alone makes it worth it for us because it stops them from turning the fountain into a toy and making a mess.

A few things I like so far:

- The lid locks in place and feels much more secure than the open-lid fountains we used before.

- The stainless steel design feels cleaner and sturdier.

- The water flow is good and keeps the cats interested in drinking.

- It works well for active, curious cats who like to mess with everything.

For Bengal owners specifically, I think this is a great option. We’ve tried several fountains before, but this is the first one that actually feels like it was designed with mischievous cats in mind. So far, it has worked really well for our two pets, and I wanted to share in case other Bengal owners are dealing with the same water-spilling issue.

Overall: Highly recommend for active Bengals or any cat that likes to lift lids, splash water, or turn their fountain into a toy.

For Bengal owners specifically, I think this is a great option because Bengals are smart, playful, and very determined. If your cat has ever removed the lid from a fountain or played with the water reservoir, this snap-clip style may solve that problem.

We’ve tried several fountains before, but this is the first one that actually feels like it was designed with mischievous cats in mind. So far, it has worked really well for our two pets, and I wanted to share in case other Bengal owners are dealing with the same water-spilling issue.

Got the new Scribe Colorsoft today — huge upgrade from the older Scribe!

Received my new Scribe Colorsoft today from the Prime deal, and after using it side-by-side with the older Kindle Scribe, I can already say this feels like a major upgrade.

The first thing I noticed is speed. The new Scribe Colorsoft is noticeably faster and smoother. Page turns, writing response, menus, and general navigation all feel much more responsive compared to the older Scribe.

The Colorsoft display is also a big improvement. Reading feels more vivid, especially with PDFs, comics, documents, and anything with highlights or visual content. It still has that Kindle/e-ink feel, but the added color makes the experience feel really good.

The included premium pen with eraser is another nice upgrade. Writing feels natural, and having the eraser built into the pen makes note-taking feel much easier. The color writing/highlighting makes notebook and document text stand out more.

One feature I was happy to see is the new connections section. The device now supports connecting to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and Microsoft OneNote, which is a big deal for anyone who wants to move documents and notes between Kindle and cloud services more easily.

A few early impressions:

The good:

  • Much faster than the older Kindle Scribe
  • Color display makes reading and documents look better
  • Writing feels smooth and natural
  • Premium Pen with eraser is very convenient
  • Google Drive, OneDrive, and OneNote connections are now available
  • Great for notes, PDFs, documents, and reading

Things to keep in mind:

  • It is still an e-ink device
  • The colors are more soft/subtle than bright OLED tablet screens
  • It is expensive, so the Prime deal definitely helped make it feel more worth it

Overall, very satsified with it so far. If you already have the older Scribe, and a good deal (upto 50% off). this is a meaningful upgrade because of the speed, color, pen experience, and cloud connections. For me, the new Colorsoft makes the Scribe feel much more useful as both a reading and note-taking device.

Sharing some pictures for anyone who is comparing it with the older Scribe.
