am i doing something wrong?? i followed the instructions of the device too ?

edit- okay so i checked wirh a multimeter and it showed me a happy 2.3 V. i am using a battery charger right now and its in Recond right now. I dont know if i should even bother with it because a little research told me that the battery lowk fried and i forsure need one and even if i recond, it should take upto 12 hours to 24 hours. Any inputs?

Need to jump the car but i dont know what a safe point to attach the ground to? I dont know which of the fat bolts is "safe" to put it to.
