My cat loves to hide around the corner and play-pounce on me when I get close. He knows to not claw or bite so that's not a problem, my problem is that I don't actually know what to do to tell him "Aaa you got me!" I've tried playyelping, but he thinks that I'm actually yelping and freaks out. What should I do to play along with him?

I'm used to knitting, where all the sts are laid out on the needle to see at a glance where you are in the pattern. I can't figure out how to read the sts in crochet. If I zone out for a millisecond, I have to frog and restart the entire row. Please tell me where the sts go, I am confusion
