Is this much fluff normal???

Swindle here has recently began puffing his chest out, and I’m not sure why. His gender isn’t known that’s just an assumption but is this much chest puff normal? Or is he molting? Please help

Update: He seems to be visibly sick now, I’m going to put a dash of apple cider vinegar in his water and give him warmer temperatures and see how he does till the afternoon, if it hasn’t improved I will take him to a vet. Thank you for your concern everyone I’ll let you know how he is soon🙏

2nd Update: He’s doing much better! He’s still fluffing up slightly but he’s been playing, no longer hanging on bottom of cage and started grinding his beak a while ago while chilling on his cage. His eating never deteriorated but his poop has become firmer again.

I am taking him to the vet tho considering his behavior is super weird so we’ll see how that goes down

Update: vet said he was cute and he was okay and recommended more fluids

Help is he sick??

He’s been very puffy since yesterday and very cuddly, but he’s also been very active and playful when we give him a ball or target train, he hasn’t stopped eating and his poops have been like green but idk I can’t tell if this is a sign of sickness or coziness? My only point of reference is budgies and I’ve noticed they’re pretty different but the puffiness and coziness is setting an alarm off for me. I can’t tell
Edit: Also he just ate carrots so that’s why his beak has orange, you can see in the picture of yesterday his beak is clean

Update on New Conure!(Swindle)

He’s warmed up to us so much!! He’s definitely not biting as much as the first few days, he’s gone down to nibbles for scritches and we read his body language when he just wants to explore by himself. We’ve managed to somewhat potty train him or at least get him to hold it until he gets to a certain spot, and he already has a favorite song (Welcome to the Jungle) and we’ve gotten him on a pretty good diet consisting of peas broccoli bell peppers and carrots and he’s been loving it. Also got him tons of new toys and he loves those too. Thank you so much for the previous comments and suggestions!

Looking for tips on Conure training

Just got this little guy! Haven’t named him yet, the store named him Swindler tho (after an escape attempt they clipped his wings as well.) After tons of research and preparation we finally brought them home, but I’m not sure of how to approach him timeline wise to start training. Just transferring them over to the cage itself from the box was a scary process, I got bit deep and worry they may never feel comfortable with me. I know it’s a part of the process but does anyone have any timelines I can reference to know I’m on the right path? I know each story is different but some perspectives could really help. Thank you!
